Hump day reminder that you have all the strength and wisdom needed to tackle whatever comes nextâ whether itâs a major life overhaul or a haircut thatâs definitely not what was asked for.
We are saddened to say we have taken down our post celebrating the appointment of Bridget Brennan as co-host on ABC News Breakfast. The post was inundated with racist and hateful comments, which we will not tolerate on our platforms.
We are committed to equity, inclusivity and diversity, and as such support and celebrate First Nations voices. And we won't stop celebrating critical steps towards equity such as First Nations women taking up important roles in the media.
But we won't allow hate or harassment to breed in our feeds.

The name for this range originates from the Greek mythology figure Thalia, the goddess of comedy, dance and idyllic poetry. Thalia is represented as a joyful, elegant figure and was one of the nine Muses, portrayed with a smiling mask and crown of ivy. Always one to incite laughter and joy, Thalia is the inspiration for this exceptional sparkling range which brings effervescent joy to any occasion.
Huge congrats to Barkaa! The NIMAs have been celebrating Australian music for 16 years, shining a spotlight on Indigenous brillianceâand weâre excited to keep that spotlight going on Broad Radio. Stay tuned! đ¶

About Thalia? âEach of the Thalia wines offer a unique window into just how amazing Tasmania can be for world-class MĂ©thode Traditionnelle. From the freshness and instant appeal of the NV, to the complex toastiness of the Reserve CuvĂ©e, these wines showcase just how important careful viticulture, meticulous winemaking and patience is when crafting superb sparkling wines,â said Chief Winemaker Liam McElhinney.
Jewel on turning 50, and what she is most proud of. Achievements come and go, but who we choose to be is what really counts. For Jewel it's being giving, loving and generous.
What are you most proud of?

'We demand that you be heard.' Thank you to Sharon Stone for her commitment to elevating women's voices, especially those with chronic illness. We echo her sentiment - we're here to provide a platform for those who aren't heard enough. Stand by for more of this SOON!

Well done Arisa Trew! Winning gold in skateboarding, to become Australia's youngest Olympic gold medallist ever. And what wisdom from someone so young: "My coach was like, 'You've just got to go all out,' and I was like, 'Yep, who cares?'" Trew said.
Wishing you a good dose of 'Yep, who cares?' today!
COMP HAS CLOSED. THANK YOU!
Congratulations to our winners, your packs are on their way out to you:

When sport and women's rights intersect, the moment is about so much more than winning. Afghan athlete Kimia Yousofi fled her home country of Afghanistan when the Taliban took control in 2021. She now calls Australia home, but competes as a part of the 6-person Afghan team. With women's rights in Afghanistan restricted to the point where they have no access to basic freedoms like education, sport and safety, Yousofi's use of the world sporting stage to call attention to this horrific oppression is monumental. We thank her for her courage. Women and girls in Afghanistan must not be forgotten.
If you havenât fallen for the power of Chappell Roan yet, add her to your rotation! Sheâs insanely talented, rocks glorious campy fashion, and has a completely unapologetic attitude (which we love here). đ§
Carrying a baby AND a nationâs hopes. Nada Hafez has redefined incredible. đ
Gender bias has plagued medical care since its inception. The Ancient Greeks used to diagnose women with âwandering wombs,â literally thinking pelvic pain was due to the womb dislodging itself and wandered around the body. Like, WTF?!
But advocacy is working, and women voices are being HEARD.
VIC Health is running an Inquiry into Womenâs Pain, and you can be a part of it.

Motherhood doesnât pause for the Olympics.
Just ask legendary track star, Allyson Felix, one of the fastest women in the world who says she couldnât keep up with her track career and her daughter without some help.
So after retiring with 11 medals (yep, 11) and two gorgeous bubbas, sheâs championing mum athletes by making the Olympics more parent-friendly. Her first move? Opening a nursery at the Olympic Village so athletes can spend time with their children in a stress-free environment.
As she says, âIt is something athletes can take advantage of, but it also begins to shift the culture and hopefully show that if you do choose to have a family while youâre competing, the support will be there.â Go Allyson! đđ

Best perk of ageing= you eventually just run out of Fs to give! đ
There's huge freedom in not caring. It's one of the best perks of ageing- eventually, you just run out of Fs to give! đ
As we tune into Paris in the coming weeks, remember trailblazer Alice Milliat- the force behind women first being allowed to compete in track and field events (and whoâd probably lose her head at the news weâve got numerical gender parity this year!) Forever grateful for women like Alice!

RIP 90âs screen icon Shannon Doherty. You said it bestâŠ. âI think the biggest misconception about me is that Iâm a bitch. I am definitely not a bitch. I am strong. I am smart. I have an opinion. And if those things make me a bitch, there is something incredibly, incredibly wrong with this world and how they view women.â
50+ is where itâs at! Do you feel more alive with age?
What are the standard romcom roles for women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s? Bland or boring moms, crazy or spinster aunts, or wallflowers chasing one last shot at love. Times are aâchanginâ tho! Finally movies are starting to reflect life, as both Nicole Kidman and Anne Hathaway star in fun, flirty films with younger men. What we watch shapes societal attitudes, so hereâs cheers to a broader view of the female experience and normalising what we know is true: That youâre never too old to start a new chapter! Also older ladies are hot and can enjoy sexy times with anyone they bloody well like! đŹ
