Being a parent in todayβs busy world is no easy task, we get it πππ
But when you look at your complaints from a different point of view you realise how much you truly have to be grateful for π
Friends π
We wanted to share with you the photos of the real people and places our impact reaches because you choose to use Kinly to book your Baby & First Aid Session with The Parentmedic Movement π
"Around the world, an estimated 7,000 newborn babies die every day. More than 80 per cent of those deaths are the result of causes that could have been prevented with basic solutions such as affordable, quality health care delivered by well-trained doctors, nurses and midwives, antenatal and postnatal nutrition for mother and baby, and clean water" - UNICEF
According to UNICEF (2016), India accounts for almost a quarter of new born deaths globally at 26% π
Sadly, the women and infants in isolated areas like this tribal village north of Rajgurunagah, in the Pune district, 4 hours by road from Mumbai, India, can be even more marginalised and vulnerable because of their remoteness and lack of access to health & basic services ππ
We are so proud to support a local charity hospital so expecting and new mothers are able to ensure care & health for themselves and their babies with having access to a charitable Hospital that provides maternity care & care for newborns π€±
182 parents booked a Parentmedic session through Kinly this month, meaning we were able to support families like you see below with 182 days of access to critical care for their newborns - check-ups, immunisations and care πππ

In todays world, with the connectedness technology brings us to people, stories and events around the world, it is so difficult to deny or ignore the suffering of our brothers and sisters in this human family.
As awakening and compassionate souls, as empathetic human beings, how do we react and respond to pain, suffering and injustice?
"Be committed to driving out darkness with Light, and hate with Love. That doesn't make a human being weak, but wise. That's not a reflection of cowardice, but of courage. Because Light reveals truth and Love realizes justice" Martin Luther King Jr.

Meet the future of Malawi, an exceptionally adorable group eating their nut fortified porridge at their own under 5's centre π
Children make up 51% of Malawi's population, and it is unconscionable to think that 4 million of the 6.8 million children suffer the effects of poverty in this country π (UNICEF)
Malnutrition is the single biggest contributor to child death in Malawi according to UNICEF: "In Malawi, there has unfortunately been no change in children's nutritional status since 1992 and malnutrition rates remain unacceptably high. Around 46 percent of children under five are stunted, 21 percent are underweight, and four percent are wasted".
Beyond the devastating statistics, are children who like any child in this world, deserve to have access to the basic services and structures to live a healthy and happy life.
Food, clean water, shelter, security, education and love β€οΈ
We don't believe that's too much to ask, and we believe in a world where children everywhere can live and thrive.
We are honoured to be part of the solution, by donating an impact for every booking made on our platform.
This month, we're proud to donate 730 days of grains to feed children living in poverty in Malawi.
A future with children living free of poverty is possible!
Mamas to be ... we get it π

Remember that feeling of holding your newborn baby in your arms? π€±π€±
Do you remember thinking how small and delicate they were?
How in that moment you wanted, more than anything, to see them safe, healthy and happy?
Itβs recognised that a childβs birth and the first 28 days are the most fragile.
According to UNICEF 7,000 newborns are dying everyday:
βThese children are not dying because we donβt have the tools to save them. More than 80 per cent of all newborn deaths are caused by β¦ preventable and treatable conditions.. But treatment and interventions are not reaching the mothers and children who need them most β the families who live in the most disadvantaged areas, enduring the harshest conditionsβ π
This month we helped 197 newborns have access to this care. We donate one days access to critical care for every booking for a Baby & Child First Aid Session with The Parentmedic Movement.
We are honoured to be part of the solution to help educate families in our communities keep their children safe & healthy, while supporting the worldβs most vulnerable children have access to critical care ππ

To all the new mums out there ... we've been there too πππ

It is unconscionable that in this time in history, 7,000 newborns die everyday ... π
UNICEF says that βending preventable child deaths can be achieved by improving access to skilled health-professionals during pregnancy and at the time of birth; lifesaving interventions, such as immunization, breastfeeding and inexpensive medicines; and increasing access to water and sanitation, that are currently beyond the reach of the worldβs poorest communitiesβ.
Every month, with every booking for a Baby & Child First Aid Session we have donated critical care for a day for a newborn born in India ... as a result we have helped hundreds of newborns born in poverty in India have access to the care they need to have a fair chance at life ππ
β¦ India accounts for almost a quarter of all newborn deaths worldwide according to UNICEF.
We are a . We are here to support and help families in our own communities and all around the world π

Anyone else looking forward to a wine on Friday night already?? π€
Ever wonder what your impact through Kinly actually means??
Imagine living in the hot, smouldering heat and unable to bathe yourself because the closest place you can reach water was too far away for you to get to ...
Meet the Grandparents of this community, married for longer than they can remember π
Before the well was installed this couple couldn't bathe as water was too far from them to walk to wash themselves.
Now they are able to bathe daily π§
A simple but treasured luxury, thanks to your support of Kinly and to the contribution of other purposeful businesses who have supported this amazing cause.
The entire community are now able to better protect themselves from deadly diarrhoea because they have access to fresh, running water .... amazing !
With your help, Kinly has donated 2,250 days of access to water to this cause .... thank you π
