If her father wasn't absent, then he was itinerant, providing food and money but not the love and discipline a father should give, especially during her developmental years. This created the illusion that a man's worth is measured by how much money he gives, and if he doesn't, it's because he's broke. This false belief was accepted by her without realizing that being a man involves more than just providing financially.

Indeed, she's barking up the wrong tree and needs the proper mental rehabilitation, and the sooner the better. Her present mental state is achingly worrisome. Her father needs to step in to help reorient her so she can at least have a bit of shame.

Perhaps, her malady has risen to the level where her father's intervention is unneeded! She's already out in the market. You know what they say when madness gets to the market! Poor thing!
