It's all happening in VRRC World. We are getting excited for a big event, with a huge field of racers from all states! We even have a couple of NZ'ers coming across the ditch!

NOTE** Bump in will be 6pm - 10pm THURSDAY NIGHT. PI has a private hire that day. You will not be permitted to enter if you arrive earlier. Scrutineering and sign on will happen until 9:30pm for a strict 10pm exit.

There are no guarantees at this stage. If there is room, you will be contacted Friday. As you can imagine, we are a small committee of volunteers organising a BIG event. We have day jobs. Calling repeatedly because you were slack entering won't get our attention any faster. if you missed out, it is on you.
ALL GARAGES ARE SOLD OUT. If you are entering late, be prepared to make your own arrangements.

This year, we are hosting rounds from a few series alongside our own. We welcome back Cafnix and the South Australian Road Racing Championships (Rnd 4), the
OZBEARS and Roaring Sporties Australia. We are also excited to welcome Round 4 of the Australian Sidecar Championships to the fold. It is sure to be a weekend of variety for all.

Congratulations to the Ricondi Motorcycle Apparel 𝑺𝒖𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 overall podium winners for Round Two of the VRRC held on the weekend. The field was close with some great racing in the pack.

Nicholson, qualifying in pole position and in fine form, was able to win three of three races, with Wilson and Side running all races in second and third respectively. The halfway point of the 2024 Victorian Ricondi Supersport seasons sees the same trio on the leaderboard, with Nicholson on 150 points, Wilson on 111 and Side close behind on 108 points.

It was a top weekend of racing at round two last weekend at the Broadford State Motorcycle Sports Complex . We can't wait until winter is over.
We’d like to send a huge congratulations to our RACE and ROAD Superbike round podium getters;
🏆 Ben Gotch – Honda (75 points)
🥈 Brett Simmonds - Honda (56 points)
🥉 Steve Tozer – Aprilia (51 points)

The #43 Honda dominated the weekend, with Ben taking out 1st in all three races. The podium was shared across three riders in second place, including Brett Simmonds, who also took out two second places, Noel Mahon , with a second and a third place and William Sharrock, who took second place in race two. Steve Tozer who was consistently able to run fourth over three races, securing him third for the round.
As we head into the winter break, we see Ben Gotch leading the Victorian Superbike series on 145 points, followed by Noel Mahon on 115 points and Brett Simonds in third with 110 points.
We thank Race and Road for coming on board this year as the class sponsor for our premier superbike class. The team have supplied a set of gloves for each of the round winners and the Superbike series winner in 2024 will win a 2024 FIM Approved Ricondi Racing Series V5 Leather Suit.

🏍️Wow, what a weekend! All the live racing action is happening at the Victorian Road Racing Championships Round 2 at Broadford.

RACE and ROAD are proud to be sponsors of the Superbike class in the Pirelli Motul Victorian Road Racing Championship for 2024. Ben Gotch here is racing a Honda CBR1000 with sensational lap times, already taking out the #1 podium spot in the RACE and ROAD Superbike Race 1 and 2, with one more race to go before wrapping up round 2. Awesome racing mate! 🎉

Oh yeah, Ben was also the lucky prize winner of a pair of Ricondi Racing Series Gloves valued at $245 from Round 1. Congrats.

We are back at Broadford for day two, round two of the Pirelli Motul Victorian Road Racing Championships. We were lucky to get some great weather for both Friday and Saturday and it looks like we are in for another fine day.
A quick wrap up so far on the round. In the Shannons Juniors 85cc class (keep an eye on this, it’s growing fast), The round win will come down to today’s final race. Jackson MacDonald and Judd Plaisted currently share the lead with 45 points. Each had a win and a 2nd place yesterday, and although the smallest bikes on the grid, the racing is fierce. Bodie Page currently holds 3rd place with 36 points.
In the 150cc junior class, Ethan Johnson continues to hold the lead, with 45 points after a 1st and 2nd yesterday, followed by Mitchell Carrick, on 43 points. Zane Beckinsale is running in 3rd, sitting on 34 points.
In the Fusport Supersport 300 class, Steve Sforzin was able to take advantage of all of the hours he has put in at Broadford to secure pole and two 1st places sitting him on 50 points. Both races saw Lachlan Epis finish in 2nd and Tom Nicholson in 3rd.
In the Ricondi Supersport class, Scott Nicholson took pole position and two race wins, seeing him comfortably in the lead, with Brendan Wilson in second and Harley Side in 3rd for both races.
Ben Gotch took out both races in the Race and Road Superbike class, with Matty Ridel close behind and Tasmanian Brett Simmonds in third.
Don’t forget, we also have the Sidecars, Supermoto and the Roaring Sporties classes. Be sure to get up to Broadford today for the final day of racing before winter sets in. As we have been reminded by our interstate visitors, we have a beautiful track for spectating. Racing kicks off at 9:05 this morning.

Ben Gotch took the overall honours in the RACE and ROAD Superbike class after denying Noel Mahon in races two and three and leads the championship fight by five points.

No one had an answer for Scott Nicholson who finished off the weekend with another two race wins in the Ricondi Supersport Championship, which handed him his second overall round win in the Supersport category and his fifth overall podium.

The top three was completed by John Quinn and Harley Side, who beat Brendan Wilson by one-point after he came off in race three, but managed to remount to finish in 17th position.

Steve Sforzin finally broke through to claim his very first round win in the Füsport Supersport 300 Championship thanks to his second and third place finishes in races two and three. Five points shy in second place was Ryan Larkin with Thomas Tom Nicolson in third.

Taking three wins from three starts in the Shannons Juniors was Jackson Macdonald. Just to rub salt into his rivals the wounds, his winning margin in race three was a whopping 22.303sec.

Thanks to the Cafnix Club for an amazing weekend. We can't wait to see you all in September at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

𝐕𝐑𝐑𝐂 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐭 Shell V-Power Motorsport Park.

In the RACE and ROAD Superbike class it was a one-horse race at the front as three times ASBK Superbike Champion, Glenn Allerton dominated the opening six-lap race with a lights-to-flag victory, winning by 17.788sec.

Next best Victorian rider home was Superbike debutante Noel Mahon in fifth place.

The Ricondi Supersport Championship saw a comfortable top three finish for the 2019 Victorian Supersport Champion, Scott Nicholson, who finished second, while the reigning champion, Brendan Wilson was third. John Quinn made up the top five respectfully.

Steve Sforzin was the best of the Victorian riders in the Füsport Supersport 300 class. Sforzin just missed out on the race win by a mere .132sec.

In the Shannons Juniors, 11-year-old Jackson Macdonald cleaned up with an 18.126sec victory, his first ever outright at state level aboard his Honda RS 85 machine.
