Another year is rapidly drawing to a close! We have packed a lot into 2023 including our first in person conference since 2019. Words are not sufficient to convey just how special it was to share those few days learning, connecting and celebrating together on the Sunshine Coast. If you were unable to join us you were missed! We are looking forward to more opportunities to connect with you in 2024. We congratulate all our members who graduated from the two Sports Nutrition Courses this year and are now progressing towards becoming Accredited Sports Dietitians. We are excited to see the great things you will achieve in sports nutrition in the years ahead! We also congratulate all members who achieved their next accreditation level during the year. We know a lot of work goes into reaching those important milestones and we especially congratulate Bronwen Lundy, Michelle Cort and Simone Austin on their Fellowships. With the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan now bedded down, 2024 will see much work to progress its key objectives, all of which are ultimately geared to support SDA members and their careers. We look forward to a thriving and successful 2024 with you! The SDA Office is now closed, re-opening on Monday 15 January 2024. We wish you all a wonderful break with your loved ones. SDA

What a big 13 weeks we've had with our first online Sports Nutrition Course wrapping up! It was a big task to modify the #SNC to an online format and ensure attendees still had the same support and guidance of the usual 4-day course. The online format allowed for a number of of experts in different areas of sports nutrition to join us, and we are incredibly grateful to them for sharing their wisdom. We would like to thank Ali Miles, Alice McNamara (Sport & Exercise Medicine Registrar), Professor Louise Burke, Fiona Sutherland, Gregory Cox and Margot Rogers for also joining us and sharing their insight, and lastly to Alan McCubbin for bringing the course to life! The next SNC for 2021 has kicked off, and we will be soon opening registrations for the final SNC for 2021, so stay tuned. #AccSD #sportsnutrition
