Great to see our SpeedSquad pre-squad kids having fun and just allowed to be kids in the safe SMALL community of our swim school last night.
Health & Safety COVID-19 Update:
Based on the advice from the Water Unit at the Victorian Department of Health And Services, Victoria’s Chief Health Officer Dr Brett Sutton and the Victorian Education Department, swimming continues to be a low risk activity.
In a document published yesterday and circulated to schools, the Victorian Education Department listed swimming lessons as an activity all schools are encouraged to continue due to its low risk nature.
Therefore we will continue to operate our swimming programs with some modifications as per DHHS advice given for all swimming programs.
If the government advice changes to pause swimming programs across the board then we will of course follow this advice, but - because our swimming school is so SMALL in population at any one time and updating our practices in line with current government advice - we will currently continue as normal.
