The Australian Gang-gang Cockatoo is part of a series of Australian native birds prints.

Meet ROCCO, the Australian Gang-gang cockatoo. Rocco may have a mo-hawk and look like a rock-star but he's still cheeky, gentle, shy and quiet 'except' for his pleasant squeaky call.

The gang-gang cockatoo is found in family groups mainly in higher altitude old-growth eucalyptus forests around Australia. Gang-gang couples mate for life and often live until they are sixty-years of age. The primitive, intelligent, inquisitive Australian gang-gang cockatoo flies into our lives to remind us to rewind and get back to the basics. Be inquisitive. We can learn a great deal from older members in our families and of our community.

Butterfly Pea

Hey Universe, I’m very thankful for the fantastic projects I’ve got to work on over the last few years but there’s one itch I haven’t scratched.

Did you know butterfly pea changes colour from indigo to purple with the addition of citrus. Ooo a gnt would be nice.

A peaceful escape
Drawn to the simple pleasures
Of a slower life and a sleepy beach
Riding the tides of change

That time I created a mock-up tea range. I still so love that little teapot in the illustration.

I have a love for cute teapots and cups. I actually took part in a ceramic workshop earlier in the year and made the cutest teapot. It’s got a few quirks but I love it all the same. Let me know if you are keen to see it?

Hoppy Easter everyone. I wonder how many are out n bout Easter egg hunting today?

Im such a kid I love an Easter egg hunt. And being in nature in general.

I always find myself in nature. Walking near the seaside or in a forest. Birds flittering about their day the odd bunny scurrying off to its hideaway. A feather or two on my path shows I’m on the right path and that my loved ones from afar are near.

Happy Easter. I hope it’s filled with love, light, laughter and nature scenes surround you.
