Little adjustment - fixed the black bench to the floor. Much more room to load plates now. There's less room between the bench opposite though - there should be enough but let us know what you think of the layout

Leg curl adjustment - new rollers. We've opted for a (much) firmer roller It won't squash no matter how much weight you use Rolls much better Hopefully more comfortable! . DM or comment your feedback πŸ‘

Kate @katevanstav_ showed up a couple months back to try to avoid ACL surgery. Not everyone needs to fix a ruptured ACL - but as an MMA competitor, Kate simply needs the stability her ACL provides. So rather than wait until surgery then begin rehab, she started rehab 6 weeks prior to the surgery. "Prehab" is a term that gets thrown around and associated with foam rolling and muscle activations etc... No. Prehab is exactly this - when you're about to go through an event that you will need to rehabilitate from (ie, surgery), and begin the required rehab BEFORE the event. . Bruce has helped rehab many knee injuries over the years, but usually the surgery has already happened months before he gets to work with the athlete. He often laments about how much more he could help athletes if he had been able to help them sooner. This was one of those lucky times. Bruce @bodyworldstkilda and Shant @strength.revolution oversaw Kate's prehab, she trained like a beast for 6 weeks, had the surgery, and within a week was back at gym for rehab. 9 days in and walking without crutches. This video was taken exactly 4 weeks after her ACL repair surgery. Just FYI: the smith machine bar here weighs ~20kg and is not offset by a counterweight like some modern versions are. Also FYI: Kate is one of the most determined and hardest workers in the gym. These results don't just fall into your lap, but it's an amazing example of what is possible. Triple FYI: Most of the time ACL repair is done via hamstring tendon graft. The major hurdle for rehab is the hamstring that donated the graft! So if you're overcoming ACL surgery with a hamstring graft, you've got to address the hamstring for full recovery! . #rehab #prehab #results
