Destination New You is excited and honoured to announce that Dr Gee has been elected as council member at The College of Surgeons of Malaysia. The college is a counterpart of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Edinburgh

The college organises scientific meetings and annual surgical congress.
Dr Gee will be teaching the surgeons and also be an examiner of their surgical work.

I am not surprised by this election and I am sure past patients are not surprised by this announcement. Dr Gee truely is the god of Bariatric Surgery!!

I recently caught up with past patient of Dr Gee’s, Lilly. What an amazing transformation and journey she has been on.

“I have lost a total of 47kg in 15 months after sleeve gastrectomy (gastric sleeve) with Dato Gee and his team. I have been chubby all my life and have tried losing weight with dieting, exercise, slimming centres, diet pills, and many more but to not effect. I have just been in Penang and Kuala Lumpur for the past 2 weeks working with my wonderful team and building new relationships.

What a fortnight it has been for Destination New You! I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without Dr Gee and my wonderful team in KL.

Since the borders have re opened, we have had clients coming over having Bariatric Surgery, and Dental Procedure’s here and there, however this fortnight we had 5 surgeries in the one week, and three dental appointments!!

Ashey was sleeved by Dr Gee right as the borders were closing. Ashey was due to have surgery in April, however when we heard the borders were closing Ashey raced to the airport at 5am and was on a plane by 9am to KL.

Dr Gee as always made it happen for Ashey and found a slot in theatre so she could begin her journey to her “New You”

Ashey sky dived with her bestie and ticked a box on her bucket list !
