The night before I turned 30 when my living room expanded into a boundless pit of love. On the eve of my 29th birthday (last year), I took a vow of noble silence and was in meditation for 7 days. This year, it was so good to be held in the generous love of my beautiful friends. The Nasi Tumpeng (Indonesian yellow rice pyramid pictured) is customary at special celebrations (in lieu of cake). We had cake anyway. ☺️❤️

Some of you might have read my End 2023/Start 2024 reflection where I talked a bit about life after being laid off and learning to hum along to my own song this year. The .co project is one such form of humming. I’ve realised that putting a big “welcome” sign on yoga and offering a friendly way to practice has always been a key avenue for me to help bring people home to their bodies and in communities. I find myself saying quite consistently that it’s one of those things I’m lucky enough to do and don’t have any “buts” about. I’m leaning in and flowing into this.
