Heading for the legendary forests to the east of Melbourne, the Life Off Road crew venture into the infamous Toolangi State Forest to feast on the treacherous mud, ruts and hills the area is well known for. Prepared for the worst, the crew are met by freshly graded tracks that present an entirely different yet tough challenge. Working north across the range they leave the slick muddy hills of Aeroplane Track for some rocky descents and a final climb across the Kalatha Creek. Watch as the crew slip and slide, bounce and drop and swim their way from south to north through the centre of Toolangi! Don't forget to watch on 7Mate Saturday 11:30am !

Life Off Road High Country Adventure Part 2 - Saturday May 28 on 7Mate at 11.30am AEST. Last week the exit of Deep Creek 1 took it’s toll on the vehicles AND team but with spirits renewed and an eagerness to push on, the crew venture into town for some urgent repairs before travelling back into the mountains via the beautifully restored mining town of Walhalla. Multiple crossings of the Aberfeldy River, slippery steep climbs and stunning vistas take the team deep into Merrington's after a full on day of exploring! Watch the adventure unfold as the team enjoy another day within the Victorian High Country, tasting the tracks and scenery close to the Thompson Dam.
After we saw 3 vehicles getting winched up this wicked hill, Brian put his foot down just a little too hard and bounced off a rut and ... well, just watch and see!! Thanks 4wd TV for always giving us a great opportunity to test our Xtreme Gearbox !!
Always known for pushing the limits, this week the 4WDTV team go beyond and do something they have never heard of anyone else trying! The Thompson Dam area of the Victorian High Country is well known for steep tough tracks, deep valleys, beautiful river crossings and great camping spots and the team set out to do Deep Creek 1! But to make it even more interesting, they are towing a camper trailer! There’s mud, rocks and insanely tight hair pin turns to deal with as the crew descend down the steep start of Deep Creek 1 but it’s the climb out that sees them winching into the dark and beyond! Does the camper survive, do they all get out, who busted what? With rain falling, conditions deteriorating and one massive hill climb remaining, this is the perfect way to start our two episode adventure featuring the region!
