📣 Underland Sound Policy Reminder 📣

We love a boogie to some bass as much as the next person, but sometimes balance is key for longevity. This year, we have developed a sound policy to ensure we can burn in Paradise for years to come. We have updated our ticketing terms and conditions to include this sound policy, so you are planning on bringing anything that makes sound to Underland 2024, please make sure to give it a read. If you have already purchased a ticket, you can email [email protected] for the updated T&Cs. If you are yet to buy your ticket, please read the updated T&Cs when you do, as you will need to follow these while you are at the event. In addition to the sound policy, we also have mandated quiet times to give folks the opportunity to rest and recharge. This year, they will be:

Friday 27 September from 2am - 12pm
Saturday 28 September from 6am - 12pm
Sunday 29 September from 6am - 12pm

All music must be off by 1am on Monday, 30th September.

Inspired by the 5th Element, this one is not to be missed! Got FOMO yet?

Calling all sci-fi lovers! Prepare to be transported to another dimension with Plavalaguna - a mesmerizing fountain that pays tribute to the legendary diva from cult-classic The Fifth Element.

This ethereal installation brings the four elements—earth, air, fire, and water—into stunning harmony, converging to unveil the aetherial fifth element. Prepare for cascading water, swirling winds, dancing flames, and grounding rocks. Like the opera that shook the universe, Plavalaguna will leave you spellbound, in awe of the harmony of nature and the power of love.

A huge thanks to everyone that has stuck their hands up so far to get involved in a volunteer crew for Underland 2024. Our rosters are looking a little more healthy, but we still really need help in bolstering our Gate and Sandman numbers:

❗Gate is a great opportunity to dip your toes as you'll be supported by a defined process while checking tickets, a great team and daring combination of traffic cones and fairy lights (!!) in getting the job done.

❗The Sandman crew are the folks who will maintain the burn perimeter during both Effigy and Temple burn. If we don't have a Sandman crew, we can't safely have a burn, so this one is important. You will get to participate in a burn from a totally new perspective while working with the fire crew on site to ensure it's a safe experience for everyone!

Calling all prospective Rangers and Sanctuary Support crew for Underland 2024 - we are stoked to now bring you a simplified signup process! Being involved in the Burn as a volunteer is a great way to meet new people, see new sights, and experience the magic of Burn from a new collective perspective. No volunteer will work alone, so this is great way to dip your toe into a crew role if you aren't sure where to start. Sign up via the form below, and we'll let you know about shift sign ups - it's that easy! Note: for H&S reasons, all volunteers will need to complete this registration form. There's not long to go now - only 16 days remaining until we are reunited on the Paddock for Underland 2024! 🔥 This is a friendly reminder that there will be no gate sales of tickets to Underland 2024, and that all folks wanting to buy tickets will need to be Common Arts Victoria members in order to receive a ticket purchasing link.

If you still need to get your ducks in a row, now is the time! We will be approving memberships up until the 24th of September, so make sure you are a signed up and ticketed ASAP to ensure you don't miss out!
