Tight glutes? Hold stress in your b***y? This is a daily go to pose for me to let go of tension. Invite your attention to go to your slow rhythmic breath, hold shape for a short time that feels safe for your body then rest.
☀️Lateral side stretch- side stretching poses lengthen the muscles between the ribs and pelvis, including parts of the low back, and open the sides of the rib cage, improving rib cage mobility and the expansiveness of the lungs, which makes breathing easier in all situations. Great as part of your daily stretch.

Yoga is union with your body, mind and spirit. How can you invite in peace, grace and union this morning? Gentle movement? Meditation? Walking barefoot on the earth at your favourite place? Set yourself up for a content day in your heart.

BREATHE; how are you breathing today? A lot of us breathe very shallow breaths from the upper chest which puts our body into a stress response and doesn't allow us to get the oxygen we need. Invite yourself to try full Yogic Breath which is deeply balancing. It is also known as three-part breath because it works with three different sections of the torso and naturally engages all three lobes of the lungs. The “three parts” are the abdomen, diaphragm, and chest. Start this for ten breaths and see how you feel afterwards in your body, mind and spirit.
Put one hand on your belly and one hand on your heart to bring awareness to your body as you breathe. Calming breath in, calming breath out. It can help to lay on your yoga mat or bed for deeper relaxation.

Jihwa Prakshalana, or the ancient Ayurvedic self-care ritual known as tongue scraping, is an an oral hygiene practice that removes bacteria, food debris, toxins, and dead cells from the surface of the tongue.
When we sleep, our digestive system remains awake, removing toxins from our body by depositing them onto the surface of our tongue. If we don’t scrape away this bacteria it may be reabsorbed by the body.
