Hi, selfie Steph here. Ready for another weekend of hitching and snapping.
📸
I love being a woman and I love all the woman in my life.
Lots of words floating around online today. Here are some that resonate with me.
In the words of the of the oh so wise RuPaul “Fulfillment isn’t found over the rainbow—it’s found in the here and now”.
Make sure your find moments throughout your special day to soak in there HERE AND NOW!
Here is me, having a lounge moment with Mrs Watson amongst the amazing blooms soaking up what was an incredible day!

“We had the most beautiful and fun wedding and I truly think that is all thanks to Steph. She made everyone laugh, made sure we were all having fun, organised everything to perfection, all of my guests have been talking about her since, saying how fun, lovely and great she was! Highly, highly recommend Steph as your celebrant & MC.”

Brooke and Mick met at work. When Brooke first met Mick she though he was a TOTALLLL babe but also a bit of a jerk.
That was all about to change, once Brooke noticed that the office grump was also concealing the office stash of Ovaltine’s, she decided to make a move… On the food of course.
It worked, she was granted access to the secret stash and in doing so Mick managed to convince Brooke he was actually a pretty lovely and funny guy, I mean the food bribery definitely helped…
During their ceremony we treated their guests to a snack very close their to heart.
The smiles were ear to ear and glistening in Ovaltine.
I am always finding your grandparents to ask how they enjoyed the ceremony. Spoiler… she loved it.
How gorgeous are Cristina and Nik, and of course Nonna.

Dana + Oly
When I married Dana and Oly last year, their only baby was their Jack Russell Lola who made a surprise appearance during their ceremony.
Now they are expecting a human sibling for Lola.
Oly did mention in his vows Dana was clunkier than all 4 of their chickens…
Gives me the warm fuzzies seeing your love grow into little people.
Big love to the soon to be mumma and puppa Steel.
Cheers to the weekend!
How amazing is this shot of Tom and Rhiannon, what glamours.
Georgia + Tom
.. Aka, G&T, and much like the popular beverage, this pairs meeting was made up partly of alcohol.
In fact, having met at College many of their first interactions were alcohol-based. 10 years on their relationship is still full of love bubbles and they have achieved an incredible amount together, NOTABLY becoming fur parents to the best boy ever, Winston.
YES, it is always a good idea to include your pooch!
Cheers to G&T!

Kate + Owen
I instantly connected with Kate and Owen, probably because they are both a bit quirky like me. Then after 202 days postponemened nestled in beautiful Kinchela on Kate's family farm, this flower-loving couple tied the knot.
Their ceremony began in the marquee but when halfway through the sun came out, we decided to venture outside and finish the ceremony on a grassy hill.
I wrote a poem about one of their travel stories and Kate and Owen shared some of the most beautiful vows I have heard. It was pretty special.
Shoutout to these amazing vendors who helped make the day so wonderful!

Always the celebrant… FINALLY the bride!
Luke and I had the most amazing 2 weeks away in WA, this moment was definitely a highlight.
Thank you for capturing such a special moment. So excited to share it with you all. 🧡🧡🧡
Still here, still smiling, still snapping!
Apologies for my absence on the grid… it’s not due to a shortage of amazing wedding pics from the last few months (brace yourselves…) I have just been finding my feet in my new legal role and smashing out 6 months of weddings packed into 3.
My heart is as full as my inbox!
However, I am still smiling this big at every wedding and yes I will be taking a zillion photos (it could be my love language).
If I am slow to get back to you- hound me. I am busy, but you are important!
Thanks for the pic and for sharing the amazing album of Tiff and Jakob 🧡
Creating some VOW WOW, but I need your help!
To ensure you’re reading your KILLER vows from some BEAUTIFUL paper, I have teamed up with the amazing Amelia from (also one of my brides, how cool) to design and have printed some vow cards.
They will be fun, beautiful and practical and I hope a special keepsake for all your days.
One side will have your vows the other some text…
Think:
- Her Vows
- Sh*t yeah I do
- I pinky promise
I want to hear from YOU! What would you want written on the back side of your vow cards?
Drop a comment or head over to my stories to let me know!
🧡
Include your babies. It makes for super cute pics… 😉
Sam and James had their three gorgeous kids involved in their ceremony. Finn, Frankie and little Fred!
They weren’t too sure at the beginning and Fred did NOT want to leave dads arms… but once the ceremony kicked off and they realized it was actually pretty fun and chill (not to mention some serious buttering up on my part), Finn was the ultimate ring boy, Frankie the sweetest flower girl and Fred was happy to come hang with me while mum and dad finished their ceremony with a Fireball shot! 🔥
Your kids are your world, they are part of your relationship, part of your journey and part of you. That is why I encourage you to include them in your ceremony.
Side note - when I showed my partner this pic he said ‘why do you always find and steal the babies’… cause I LOVE THEM!
Thanks for the gorgeous pic 🧡
2021 was a massive blooper, here are some of mine from 2021.
I’m feeling ‘22! 🧡
Bianca + Moe
What a power couple. Bianca and Moe met at work but it wasn’t until the chrissy boat party did things really kick off. The vibes were high they were having a hull-of-a-time, this romance was making waves, the cruisers were flowing but this romance was no one-hit wonder, the connection would extend beyond the pier, there would be a ferry-tale ending.
It was a pleasure to hitch this pair and stick around to MC their epic reception.

Ainsley + Matt
SURPRISE… this engagement party is a HITCHING!
I met with Ainsley and Matt just 4 weeks and 1 day before their scheduled engagement party.
They had planned a backyard party with all their favorite people and thought Porque no los dos? We pulled it off!
Although, the real surprise of this relationship was when Ainsley stumbled across Matt’s Bumble profile.
Could this be real? Was this a sponsored add of what Bumble boys should be like? Nope, this real-life action man was on Bumble and by god did Ainsley swipe right. In fact, it was the only swipe right she did that night, and the last of her life.
I loved getting to know Ainsley and Matt and their little man Remi. They shared so much of their love story with me which made for a super fun and unique ceremony. 🧡
Here to hype, help, direct and fluff. Oh and MARRY, that’s a big one.
Look at these lovers, they are in the moment. I want you in the moment for all the moments of your ceremony.
There will not be a second of your ceremony that you are thinking ‘what’s happening, is my dress fluffed, where do I go, do I look okay’… I GOT CHOOOOOO.
And just in case you do wonder… the answer is yes. You. Are. GLOWING. Just like gorgeous Ashley and Scott here.
I’m bossy, and I’ve found that really works in your favor for a smooth, good looking ceremony.

Brodee and Tom
What a day, what a couple, what a dance floor. My photo library is full of dancing videos, silly selfies and wedding scenes. The one thing I do not have however is a picture with both the Bride and Groom!
I feel so honored to have married my friends Tom and Brodee, they are so suited to each other and so so in love and my goshhhh did their vows reflect that love. Took all my might not to cry (everyone else was!)
Tom’s gorgeous mum did a beautiful job on the flowers and was shooting well into the night!
I am feeling exactly as you should after a great wedding- full heart, full belly and sore feet!
Sarah + Mitch
To give you an idea of how long this pair have been loving each other… one of their first dates was to see the Blue Crush.
Neither Mitch or Sair had a particularly clear memory of the early stages of their relationship. Granted it was over a decade ago… so I improvised their tween MSN chat.
It involved a bit of logging in and out, heavily featured BRB and TTYL. And I am sure Mitch sent Sair a ‘nudge’ or two. Anyway, it ended because Sarah’s big sis needed to use the phone…you get the idea.
Cheers to the Fox’s. Thank you for having me. 🧡

Britt and Sean, year 10 formal date and now each others forever date.
Sean told me he realized he wanted to marry Britt when he was living with his grandparents who had been married for 60 years. He saw the care they took of each other, the fun they had and the family they had build. While he was living in the legacy of their love he realized he wanted all of that with Britt.
It was a HOOT celebrating this pair on Saturday at the epic wishing you all the very best!
Vendor lineup:
Making friends.
I love when I marry people and people ask me afterwards ‘how long have you known the couple, are you friends?’… I love it even more when I can respond with ‘not very long and we are now!’
From the second Bon and Josh’s heads popped up on my screen in our Zoom meet, I knew we were going to be mates.
I firmly believe the secret to an epic wedding day, no matter what that looks like, is having people involved that you would be friends with. And with a bit of luck you will be in the end!
Like planning a wedding…
I have been receiving a lot of enquiries for 2023, which blows my mind a little… but then again this wedding planning business is a big job, so I understand people getting in early.
Soooo… I will be opening my books for 2023 in January 2022.
(And for all those who have already enquired, yes, you’ll get first dibs!)

Step aside Sonia Kruger I just emceed my first (non wedding) event and I think I’m ready for The Voice.
Joking, I would miss Sonia and her sequins on my tv way to much… but seriously, if you need a professional hype girl, announcement wiz, guest schmoozer and run-sheet ruler, hit me up.
Thanks so much for having me next year I’m wearing Sonia sequins!
