JOBKEEPER : Changes announced 7th August
Quick summary of the changes to Jobkeeper coming on 28th September.......
β From end of September the payment will be reduced to $1,200 per fortnight for those working MORE than 20 hours per week OR $750 for those working LESS than 20 hours per week. This is for October to December.β

From January the payment will be reduced to $1,000 per fortnight for those working MORE than 20 hours per week OR $650 for those working LESS than 20 hours per week. This will be for January to March.β
The AMOUNTS aren't changing from the previous announcement.

In order to be ELIGIBLE post 28 September you will need to show a reduction in turnover of 30% in the SEPTEMBER QUARTER compared to the September Quarter last year (previously the rules were both June AND September Quarters being down 30%)
In order to be ELIGIBLE post 4th January you will need to show a reduction in turnover of 30% in the DECEMBER QUARTER compared to the December Quarter last year (previously the rules were June + September + December Quarters)
The OTHER CHANGE is that employees need to be employed on the 1st July, NOT the 1st March as the current rules are. This means anyone employed post 1st March could be eligible from 28th September if they are permanent or a long term casual.
