{What you see and feel in your inner world, you will experience in your outer world}
William James, known as the father of Psychology, an American philosopher and psychologist, and the first educator to offer a psychology course in the United States, stated in the late 1800's “The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives” The outer world you are experiencing is merely a reflection of your inner world. This is a big statement to ponder don’t you think? And so, if this is the case, why do we not stop, look within, and overhaul the internal world so we can be more appreciative of our external experiences?
Firstly, we need to understand what we are experiencing externally. In the external world, we can see, touch and hear through our basic senses. We have been conditioned to believe predominantly what we see. This is because, for the most part, we experience the external world through our eyes. Yet, science has clearly shown us that what you see is not the same as what everyone else sees. How we perceive things is not the same. I’ve asked hundreds of people in seminars to think of the simple word ‘water’ or ‘picnic’ and no two responses are the same. And that’s just a word. For the most part, our interpretation of the world around us, is built predominately over our social & environmental conditioning. If your interpretation of the external world is different to everyone else’s, then what is reality? And what have you made up that others cannot see? Why do we do this?
Let me give you an example of how this works. Consider a time in your life when you experienced something negative as a child. You might have encountered disappointment in your life that you buried because it was too painful to deal with at the time. You project negativity into the world, and more negativity keeps coming to you in response. It further exacerbates the feeling of negativity and so the spiral continues, sometimes for years and years. Could this quite possibly just be a projected reminder to deal with the thing you buried in the first place? What if you go back and reflect on what created the negativity in the first place? Then deal with it rationally because you are older and wiser now, and what created the feeling simply is irrelevant now. What might you feel like now? Would the way you see the outside world be different in some way? Has the external landscape changed? More importantly, have you changed?
I’m not a betting man, however, I would bet you have changed on the inside, and that is why you are now seeing the external world differently. Next time your experience of the external world is not visually pleasing, you're dissatisfied, frustrated or discontent; turn your view inward, and there might just be a road sign pointing you to the root cause of your problems.
I’ve had to do this multiple times and regularly. Learn to do this often, and you are on your way to re-creating the external world to appear just as your heart desires. How cool would that be? Give it a go. Where you put your energy, so too will you put your focus, and THAT, ladies and gentlemen, will be what you experience.
Where attention goes, energy flows. All you need to do is start.

{ Juggling: One Skill All Athletes Can Benefit From }

Meet Darcy, he literally juggled after about 1 min of tuition 🤷🏾♂️ go figure 🤣
One of the best surfers 🏄🏿 on the Coast and SEQ and quite possibly Australia, athletes like Darcy stand to gain many benefits from Juggling.
1.
Hand eye coordination
The most apparent benefit of juggling is the improvement in hand-eye coordination. This also has the most significant impact on sports performance

Brain development
The deeper science and research on juggling and its effects on brain development are genuinely fascinating, I started to dig up actual research in this realm and was really blown away by the findings.
Many studies on brain development revolve around gray matter, which has proven links to our memory and focus. Gray matter is made of neuronal cell bodies and conducts and processes information to send to other body areas.
3.
No Limitations
Another great benefit of juggling with our athletes is that there are truly none of the limitations that exist in other aspects of sport. Height doesn’t matter. Speed doesn’t matter. Experience in sports doesn’t matter. It’s only limited by the time you put into it

Rhythm coordination & timing
What you experience with juggling can greatly carry over to other training modalities or sports. One of the keys to juggling that I’ve had success with is making it a whole-body motion

Do you remember how you had certain yearnings as a child?
Did you ever see the correlation between your childhood “deprivations” and your current dreams, directions, and desires?
•
For example, if you had an absent father and you really wanted your father to be around, now as a father, you probably are there for your children in a way your father was not.
•
If you were never allowed freedom, you probably now have a high value on freedom.
If your parents never had a “good” education, they probably emphasised to you the importance of an education.
In my case, I was AVERAGE mentally. chubby, average physically & as a child, now i spend almost most my time my searching for Elite physical and psychological performance– and here I am with multiple companies that “teaches” people how to find it also.

As human beings, we are all programmed to look for whatever we perceive is most missing in our lives.
In other words, our voids tend to create what we value in life. Many of your current values are likely the result of the perceived voids you had as a child. It is these perceived voids that drive us towards excellence and lead us to seek fulfillment in that area.
How does what you “didn’t have” as a child (that you really wanted) show up in what you value in your life today?

The prerequisite for spending time with any person is that they nourish and inspire you.

Put your phone down for just a second and look around.
Look to the people around you.
Are those people throwing logs on your fire or are they pouring water on it?
The people that you spend time with are going to make or break your dreams.
Everybody doesn’t deserve to be around you.

So who are the people in your life that are fanning the flames?
