Happy bowlers at our Christmas party and Presentation Dinner
We had the pleasure of hosting some members of the defence forces based at HMAS Albatross for a session of indoor bowls. All participants had fun and enjoyed their time.
A great night had by all at the Ex Servos Christmas dinner. Congratulations to our bowler of the year Di Ainsworth and to our sportsperson of the year Sheryl Bradshaw.
The final supper for Shoalhaven District Indoor Bowls. All enjoyed themselves. Who knows, the district may rise up again, but not in the near future.
It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that the Shoalhaven District Indoor Bowls Association will be folding as of the next state AGM. This is due to dwindling numbers and increased costs to members. Maybe one day we will have an increase in numbers to re-establish, but that is highly unlikely.
Best of luck to Terry Richmond who will be contesting the NSWIBBA state Singles event at Mt Pritchard on Sunday
Good luck to Terry Richmond and Ferdie Martinez who are playing in the round Robin section of the state pairs at Mt Pritchard on Sunday.
Wishing Ferdie Martinez, Fernando Di Castillo, Terry Richmond and Tom Smith all the best as they contest the state mixed fours today at Mt Pritchard.
Wishing Terry Richmond and Walter Lopez all the best this Sunday where they will be playing the state triples event at Mt Pritchard.
