It's been a while since I've posted, and there have been some changes happening beind the scenes.
I've decided to step back from my role of Thermomix Consultant, into the role of Thermomix Ambassador.
I can still support you in your Thermomix journey, however cannot offer cooking experiences (in home or virtually), or process any orders.
I certainly can point you in the direction of trusted consultants to help you out, if you need a consultant :-)
I have decided to step back so i can focus on my family and personal life, and putting myself first.
This isn't goodbye, just see you soon ;-)
First dish I've made from The Healthy Mix V, the new book from Nikalene Riddle/Skinnymixers.
This is the vegetarian version of satay chicken, using sweet potato and capsicum.
I also made the chicken version for the meat eaters, both get the tick of approval ✅

Watching Greys Anatomy in bed (from the start again!! They're all so young!), and get a hankering for some dessert.
Earlier today I whipped up a banana loaf (made into cupcakes, using the dariole moulds from The Mix Shop), so paired it with a quick banana custard, using the thicken mode on the TM6.
The custard doesn't look that appealing, but certainly tastes good.

Chickpea Shawarma salad, from Thermobexta lastest book - Salads for all Seasons.
I decided to switch it up, and make it into a wrap - so good!! 🙌
Deliciously warm and seasoned cauliflower and chickpeas, a quick pickle of red onion and celery, topped with a slightly sweet tahini dressing to bring it together 😍
The addition of mint lifts the whole dish!
I've been a little slack this week, and this is the first recipe I've made from the new book. I have no doubt the other dishes in the book are just as amazing 🤩

Made bread today, using Everyday White Bread recipe on Cookidoo.
I usually make a high top loaf (cook without the lid), today I made a sandwich loaf.
The tin is a little small to hold all the dough with the lid on, so I removed some and made a small batch of cheese and vegemite scrolls, and cooked in the airfryer!!
I may have eaten a couple since coming out of the airfryer - they taste so good!! 🙊

Woke up at stupid o'clock this morning, and couldn't get back to sleep.

Leftover food still in your Thermoserver?
Don't dirty another bowl or container - grab a silicone lid from the Mix Shop and put the whole thing in the fridge!
It can also be used when transporting food in your Thermoserver!
The silicone lid fits over the Thermomix bowl itself, or on the 2.6L round thermoserver.
Just flick the edges over to form a snug fit!

Last night myself and Thermomix Community - Louise Mahoney did a bit of a Happy Hour with our customers!
We each prepared a couple of Cocktails/Mocktails from Cookidoo, and played a few rounds of trivia, too!
Something different, than our cookalongs we do, and a great way to end the week! :-)

School starts back in a couple of week for us Victorians, but daycare started back up today for us!! :-D
While my son was at daycare, I whipped up a batch of Skinnymixers Lunchbox chicken loaf - perfect for sandwiches, or for snack ;-)
Made with REAL chicken breast, it cost me less than $6.00 for half a kilo, and you can add whatever flavours you want!!
My chicken loaf - approx $12/kg

Made Quick Gyros with Tzatziki tonight, which uses high heat mode and this was my bowl afterwards! 😬
Popped some water in, a splash of Vinegar and let the TM6 do the rest!
It automatically detected how dirty the bowl was, and adjusted the clean time accordingly.
After pouring the water out, a quick once over with my euro scrubby, using minimal pressure, got that last little bit off!
Only 4 more days until our Host Rewards get a overhaul!!

I timed my sourdough wrong, so I had to feed my starter again before I made my bread.... which means I had some starter to use up!!
A quick change of the Cookidoo filters, and a few minutes in the kitchen and these bad boys were soon in the oven!

On Saturday I ran a small Staples Workshop.
Just me, 2 Thermomixes, 4 bowls, and 1 hour!
I made:
Back (L-R): Brown Sugar, GF Plain Flour, GF SR Flour, Butter
Front (L-R): Nutella, Hot Chocolate Mix, Baking powder, Sweetened Condensed Milk
(Not pictured is normal SR Flour)
All of these items were making using items I already had in my pantry (I only needed to buy Molasses and Potato Starch!).
Cost only a fraction to make - I'd hate to think how much this would have cost if I'd purchased from the shops! 😬
