Rock your brightest and most colourful socks today to raise awareness for World Down Syndrome, 21st March.

Socks were chosen due to the idea that chromosomes are “sock shaped” and Down syndrome is a condition in which a person has one extra chromosome. Our socks can also help to get people talking!

Today we advocate for inclusion, well-being and the rights of people with Down Syndrome 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️

James Plummer wants politicians to know that he and everyone else with Down syndrome deserve the support they need to live an independent life.

But sometimes people living in regional Australia don't get as much support as their city counterparts. Equal support is a human right though, regardless of if you live in a city or in a smaller town.

Foodbank WA are running another instalment of their FREE 4 week program next month in March 2023!

This is a nutrition and education program for people living with a disability and their support workers.

The program teaches vital skills such as education around eating for health and wellbeing, and how to prepare and cook easy, healthy and delicious meals!

It is 2.5 hours a week for 4 weeks and Foodbank provides lots of amazing free tips and recipes in a fun and engaging environment. Please see the link for more details ☺️
