So..it finally happened.
Loaded the swags and gear back in the trailer and wife can't find her phone...where was it?...in the rolled up big daddy swag now in the bottom of the trailer.. 😂😭

What a great few days exploring what we could given road closures and with little Lexi on my back but we will be back one day to explore the rest! 🤠🤙

Day 3 of exploring Karijini.

What a hike down Joffre with Lexi on my back. Starts off with grade 4 but turns to 5 at the staircases down but it's so worth it. Swimming here was amazing but I do recommend reef shoes as it's like walking on lego with all the stones at the bottom 😂.

Kalamina was also wonderful with a short grade 4 hike to a small waterfall. Water looked a bit stagnant so we did not swim.

Day 2 of exploring Karijini National Park!
Between Hamersley Gorge yesterday, Fern pool, and Fortescue falls today, all 3 were beautiful and hard to pick a favourite. Got lucky with beautiful weather.

📍 Hamersley Gorge, Karijini

First gorge of the road trip done and dusted.
We were stunned as to how beautiful this place is regardless of it being busy due to school holidays.

About an hour from Tom Price.

Small hike down but it is a grade 4 hike so be prepared for climbing back up!

📍Mount Nameless

Located in Tom Price.
The peak of Mount Nameless stands 1128 metres above sea level, and from the lookout there are sweeping views across the Hammersley Ranges, the town of Tom Price and the iron ore mining operations.

and done and dusted.

What a great couple of days and beautiful places to visit on our way to Tom Price.

While the flys and heat got the best of us today I did enjoy having a crack at taking full advantage of the stars show out here in Wooramel RIverside Retreat. Not bad from the Samsung 21 ultra! Final touches on LightRoom app.

From 2 trips to the Kalbarri health centre to horrible weather, we certainly did the best we could to enjoy 7 days exploring the area.

Kalbarri Hawks Head and Ross Graham lookouts in the national park. Beautiful spots to go see very blessed to have these beautiful places to visit in wa.

Well our Kalbarri trip is done and dusted! What a week.
Nothing like a drop into the Pinnacles on the drive home.

Roughly 200km from Perth, The Pinnacles are natural limestone structures. They were formed around 30,000 years ago after the sea receded. In time, wind removed the surrounding sand, leaving the pillars exposed.

This has to be the best photo I have ever taken on my drone!

Such a beautiful place to visit.

The famous nature's window is a beautiful spot to visit and only a short drive out of town!

We swear the lake is pink!..was a bit overcast today which didn't help!
Still worth dropping in to see on the way to Kalbarri!

Got ourselves the Spinifex quick fold camp stretcher from Anaconda Stores for our Kings Big Daddy Deluxe double swag from 4WDSupacentre.com.au!

This stretcher is good for 200kg, weighs just under 10kg but is perfect for the double swag.

Road trip from Perth to Busselton! We explore Busselton and Yallingup, Western Australia in a day drive from Perth.

We did it...left Perth this morning at 530am to arrive in Busselton, Western Australia, explore the Ngilgi Cave in Yallingup, Western Australia, Australia, snorkel at Canal Rocks Yallingup, dinner back in Busselton at Shelter Brewing Co before getting back home in Perth for 10pm!! We are wrecked but what a day!

Walked Busselton Jetty, full 1.8km to the end and back! Longest timber piled jetty in the southern hemisphere.
Only cost $4 for a all day pass.

Exploring Ngilgi Cave was amazing. Quite challenging carrying a 7 month old but was still able to see quite a lot. Only $24 for adults and $12 for the kids. We all had so much fun.

Snorkelling around the Canal Rocks was the kids best activity for the day! Given was late in the afternoon it was quite busy and windy but still well worth the visit.

Finally got back to Busselton for dinner, kids tired themselves out on the amazing shipwreck playground there and watch the sun set.

What an amazing day at the Perth 4WD and Adventure Show. Meeting these legends!
