Next project on the go - 'smart' bedside tables for our bedroom to replace the $5 IKEA junk 👍 Still have leftover wood from the dining table project. Gonna be epic!

My latest piece - a wok burner cover / cutting board for a mate. This is attempt 2. The first was a total failure. This project took AGES, but was really rewarding. And I LOVE the polisher from !

A HUGE thankyou to Linley Watts for letting me rummage through her dad's toolshed and help myself. Found some amazing old school, quality tools! And a bunch of wood n stuff!! Looking super forward to cleaning up and trying the hand planes.

New toy arrived today! I'm super excited. Only challenge now is trying to find room for it. Apparently table saws 'dont belong in the bedroom'...

Kids cubby all done and dusted, and finished on the deck treatment. Was a mission but I think it looks pretty sweet! And the kids love the sandpit. Thanks dad for the table and all the help!

LOTS of hard work gone into this coffee table. At final prep stage, just a bit of cutting and polishing before assembly and waxing.

Took a while with Mr. McWeakNoisyRouter, but eventually got side 1 done. What do you think of the colour? Better than the turquoise?
Yarrghh. When your most-used tool stops working, and it doesn't look too likely that it can be replaced or fixed, unless the fix doesn't involve any new parts...
Some tips for slab milling I've picked up over time!
No. 2 starting to come along nicely. Now that the overpour coming is off, you can see all the features. This may be my favourite!
Question is, gloss or matte?
