"bringing humanity back to business" Agung Alit from tells me of the movement that has been his life's work and passion for over 3 decades.
It was wonderful to visit Fair Trade friends Agung, Hani and their daughter Janis at their HQ just outside of Ubud. Pioneers of Fair Trade, Mitra Bali ensures that rural artisans are treated fairly for their skilled work.
In the last photo, Agung takes me back to the grid lock traffic of Ubud via tranquil rice paddies that he fears will soon be gone as endless new villa's emerge π
Bold & beautiful π These cushion covers have been so popular! We've freshened up our Airbnb, using them as scatter cushions but they look ah-mazing on sofa's too (oh yes, we love bold prints!).

As the extreme heat continues in WA, we've been busy behind the scenes working with our partners in Cambodia to stock up on our super popular beach bags, laptop sleeves & toiletry bags. Orders are in and stock will be here in time for Mother's Day.
For every order, new fabric needs to be sourced from the market, and as we use off-cuts, (leftovers from the garment factories), we never know if we'll find the right textile! This beautiful collection has been designed by my sister-in-law and is expertly crafted by Fair Trade Organisation π

Sri Lanka is a small island with a mighty coconut industry - 4th largest producer of coconuts in the world. Coconuts are exported around the world as demand for this versatile nut continue to grow. Here we were visiting a certified organic, Fairtrade small-holder coconut farm where we were invited to plant a new tree, lifespan 100 years.
We are missing the coconut trees already π΄π΄

I've met the best people at markets, people that care about what they are buying, how it's made, who's made/ grown it. They are microcosms of the change we want to see in our broken consumerist model. They are places where people slow down, connect with produce, product and community.
Starting this weekend:
