Stage two of our organic logo process. In stage 1 we produce a series of rough sketches. Stage 2 is where we take the preferred sketch and start playing with the finer details such as line thickness and shape. Once the shape is perfected we can finally bring the drawing into one of our editing apps to create more details, colour variations and smoother lines!

Here are 4 ways you can help yourself get into a creative flow state.
1. Remove eternal distractions, find somewhere that is quiet and peaceful or get out into nature.
2. Centre yourself and calm the mind with meditation, free flowing movement, yoga or another practice for the body, mind and soul.
3. Let go of all expectations, surrender and anchor yourself into the present moment.
4. Find the sweet spot between challenge and skill or effort and ease. If the activity is too easy or simple, or if the challenge becomes too overwhelming it becomes much harder to get into flow!

Yes, art and design skills are helpful and important, but creativity requires the ability to abandon any training, rules or guidelines so that something new can come forth!

Stage one of our organic logo process, is a series of rough sketches which help us to get an idea of the best design. Stage two is where we refine the chosen image and play around with the details. In stage three we take the final image to smooth, vectorize and computerize the drawing. Finally from there we can add colour, text and texture to your unique design!

Meet our founder Claire!

Claire has an extensive background in art, design, movement and dance. She is a lover of the forest and inland waterways, although she deeply appreciates every moment that is spent re-connecting in nature. She also runs a holistic wellness business and got into web design after her own difficult experiences with trying to find a designer that would ticked all the boxes (of quality, affordability, tech knowledge, strong ethics, creative flair and artistic skill). She created Deep River Designs to bring all of these different aspects together for other like-minded businesses facing the same obstacles.

Everything we create is made with love. We feel that it is so important to do everything as if we were doing it for our-self or a loved one. We understand that the energy and intention that we put into our work, shines through for all to see.
