Found yourself caught in the "Yes" trap, where you're constantly saying "yes" to every request? πββοΈ
Even when you really wish you could muster up the courage to say "no"? πββοΈ
I used to be a pro at people-pleasing. π
I was always striving to keep everyone happy often meant I was unintentionally sacrificing my own needs, precious time, and, yes, the quality of my work. π
So, if you're nodding along, feeling like you've been on the "Yes" treadmill a bit too much lately, fear not, because I've got a roadmap based on my own experiences to help you navigate out of this situation:
π First off, let's delve into the world of identifying your superpowers π―
It's time to embrace your strengths, just as I did, and in doing so, you'll naturally start setting some much-needed boundaries.
Knowing where you excel is your ticket to taking control of your time and energy.
π Now, let's have an honest chat, communication is the real king π
Engage in those open conversations with your clients, especially about your availability and the tasks that truly light your creative fire.
Achieving a harmonious work-life balance begins with these dialogues!
π Moving on, let's talk about mastering the art of prioritization
Picture yourself as an expert juggler, just as I've learned to be.
Skillfully organize your tasks, determining what's urgent and what can wait.
π Lastly, let's tackle the "N" word β saying "no" π
ββοΈ
Remember, you're not merely a "yes" machine; you're a powerhouse, as I've come to realize.
Politely but firmly declining when your plate is already full is an act of self-care that I've embraced wholeheartedly.
I have every confidence that you can do the same! πͺ
π Your happiness is of utmost importance, and you, are the captain of your ship
As you define these boundaries and regain control, just imagine the incredible possibilities ahead.
Are you ready to embark on this transformation? If this resonates with you, drop a π!

πThe Crucial Elements to Include in Your Contract!"
π Securing a signed client agreement is an absolute must when starting your journey as a virtual assistant.
Having a solid client agreement in place acts as your shield
Make sure your contract have these 3 elements π
πΊοΈ A detailed scope of work in a contract is essential for success.
It outlines tasks, responsibilities, and deliverables, guiding you through the virtual landscape with confidence. Let clarity be your compass! β¨
β° Define your working hours
State how long your working hours will be if you charge based on hourly rates to your clients or the deadlines for each milestone.
The last thing you want is to work more than the agreed hours or deliverability and you don't get paid!
π° Include comprehensive payment details in your contract to create a foundation of trust and transparency.
Smooth transactions and timely compensation are the keys to maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with your clients.
More importantly, a solid contract serves as a preventive measure, significantly reducing the likelihood of encountering such unpleasant situations.

Having niche will bring you benefits π
Not only it's a lot easier to approach your prospected clients when you know your niche π but also you'll stand out among the crowd when you nail your expertise.
Make sure you know what you really good at. So people can see you π as the expert and you'll be the person they go to when they encounter an issue in your niche.
And when it comes to the cash π€, being a specialist will definitely bring you more money π° People will be willing to pay you more to get their problems solved by the expert.
So tell me, have you found your niche? π€
Clueless on how to start making money without leaving your home? π
Well...I've been doing it for quite a while. So I'm telling you, it's not as hard as you think π
I may not look super pretty wearing high heels π red lipstick, and a fancy blazer while working π©βπ» but I do earn money in my pajamas with no make-up face wearing my sleepers. And that makes me happy!!! π€©

You don't have to shift to a full-time VA straight away π
ββοΈ
When starting a new thing, we could hesitate to do it all in. There might be so many reasons we have to consider to take the leap. Super common.
There are a few things you can do prior to taking it as your only job :
β Make sure you have savings for at least 6-12 months of your monthly expenses. The longer the better!
You need it if the 1st few months you struggle to cover your expenses
β Secured a few clients while you're taking it as your part-time job. Doing this will validate that you're going to have income while shifting.
β Keep showing up. Let your prospects familiar with you! So when they need your service, you are already in their mind.

You wanna make money, but you wanna be at home at the same timeπ€¦π»ββοΈ
I wish somebody told me that doing something from home using the skills I have without having somebody telling me what to do (aka a boss) equals to having a business ππ»
And it's not complicated..AT ALL π
ββοΈ
If only someone shared with me these 3 formulas π to start working remotely, I could have started it earlier:
π Get to know the skills you can monetise in online space
π Find out what service you can do for someone else that transferable remotely
π Trust your instinct! π₯
You may ask people's opinion. But at the end of the day, the one who knows you best is YOURSELF βΊοΈ
If you still have no idea your skills you can monetise to start working remotely, download my FREE WORKBOOK from the link in Instagram account
Do you keep feeling how unlucky you are when it comes starting to build your own biz? π£
You contstantly seeing other people building their biz, while you're claiming you have nothing to start with π«
You focus on working on copying other people steps for curating what so called perfect plan, when you know everyone has their own strength π
When your thought surrounded by the darkness, you loose the battle already way before attending the war π
If those thoughts come to you, remind yourself that you SHOULD π
π Start messy toward your scary dream! No such thing as a perfect beginning π
ββοΈ
Taking the 1st action is always the hardest. Once you're done with the very 1st movement, you'll know it's not as bad as you thought
π Begin with what you already have
No need to take on a loan to start a business. Use the skillset and knowledge within yourself to do the task you already know π₯
So monetary wise, you don't make any expenses to start with π
π Take 1 step at a time
Don't think about the next 100 steps, it'll stress you out and you'll freak out before you begin π£
Once you're done with step 1, just try to figure out step 2. Don't bother about step 3 & 4. Thinking too many things at the same time will paralyse your mind π£

Eid Mubarak!!
I finally made it to go home for one of my favourite festive seasons after stucked for 3 years abroad π₯²
Having a super bitter sweet chapter as never had a thought in my worst nightmare to spend it without my one and only person I had always count on in my entire life, my mom π’
Life is indeed full of surprises, including those that bring us hit the rock bottom π₯
Wish you have a happy Eid!! π
Unpopular opinion: Never "fake it till you make it" π
π»ββοΈ
I'm such a big believer ππ»ββοΈ that being true to ourselves will make us see the real us and it gives us benefits β€οΈ
It will help us craft the strategy π that works to develop consistency in presenting the facts.
Convincing others by faking it and not being authentic will only give us excuses to NOT tell the reality π
Our failures give lesson as much as your success' , so celebrate both of them π₯³

"Treat this Ramadhan as if it's your last one..since you never know when your last one will be"

Calling new VA's: Do you get lost in setting your rate? π€
"How much should I charge? I have no idea!" π©
Is that βοΈquestion currently keep coming in your mind?
Yes, putting price tag to your service when you're new in the business can be confusing. Super normal π
Let me tell you a secret about calculating your rate: PRICING IS A PERSONAL DECISION ππ»
Just make sure consider these πin setting your rate
πΈ Market price
Analyse the market price for similar qualification and experience as yours
πΈ Tax
Remember, you're not an employee (hence no employeer who will pay tax on your behalf).
Calculate this when you're setting your rate.
πΈ Expenses
Usually you pay the expense related to your job, unless agreed otherwise with your clients.
Take this into account when calculating your rate.
Tell me, have you considered tax & expenses in setting your rate? π
Shall I reveal my secret to you? π
I began my virtual career when I was juggling between working as a teacher and a temporary "single mom"π¨πΌβπΌ (my husband, the one & only support buddy, was away overseas for 6 months).
Trusting my gut while I had no one in my circle who run online business was nerve wrecking π©
Was I worried it might not work? π£Yes.
Was I afraid I couldn't make it? πNo doubt.
Was I scared I might waste my time? π© HELL YEAH!!
Before making the leap, for a moment I had looked back and realise,
Was I fully prepared when I joined university life (deciding what to wear was hard!)? π
ββοΈ No, I wasn't
Was I fully ready in facing marriage life (bye 'impromptu last minute decision' lifestyle!)? π₯΅ Ofcourse not!
Was I fully ready having 42weeks pregnancy? π HELL NO!!
Regardless how well my preparation I have had, I started to undestand that life always brings "surprise".
But in the end, Regardless how many times I have fallen apart, I always managed to stand up tall π
If I waited until I was ready, I wouldn't share my amazing journey as VA to you now βΊοΈ
