began with two friends, Jesse and Griff, who share a middle name ‘Thomas’, a suspicion of tradition, and a passion to bring real pleasure to people’s lives.

In 2014 they joined forces with Marcel Thompson, one of the Trans-Tasman Bubble’s most experienced gin distillers who produced Gordon’s Gin and Tanqueray Gin in New Zealand on copper pot stills from pre-war London.

Named after King Edgar’s character in Shakespeare’s King Lear, Poor Toms makes drinks that uniquely capture a time and place, and are driven by curiosity and imagination.

Carl and Carla Borrello managed a large collection of vineyards across Western Australia, before deciding some of the parcels of fruit they had grown were too good to give away! So, they decided to start turning their best parcels into quality wines... And in Paul's capable hands the wines are looking the goods!

Donnafugata was founded in 1983 by Giacomo Rallo and his wife Gabriella, a pioneering female viticulturist. Today the company is led by their children Antonio and José. Wines are thoughtfully produced with a focus on sustainability.

New vintage Sidewood Sauvignon Blanc!

Fruit for the 2024 is sourced primarily from selected blocks on the Charleston and Oakbank properties, two of Australia’s finest Sauvignon Blanc vineyards.

Wine is delightful as usual, with vibrant lime zest and lychee, hints of nettle, cucumber and incredible length.

Chenin Blanc is also such a historically important grape locally, we are lucky enough to have some lovely old vines right here in the Swan Valley with the original plantings dating right back to 1829!

Not only are the current release wines looking amazing, we were lucky enough to have some back vintage 'Albert' and 'Righteous FG' Shiraz magnums also, reminding us how incredibly well these wines age.

We are thrilled to be sending out the latest release (2020) of the iconic Pierro 'VR' Chardonnay to the lucky allocation holders!

"I remember tasting this great chardonnay on release, thinking I wonder how that will be in a few years. Well now I know. Bloody marvellous. This captures so much of the character of this excellent although small Margaret River vintage. It’s delicate yet it has so much power driving through on the palate.
