Who are the people who give Bolton Clarke its name? After bringing RSL Care and RDNS together as Australia’s largest independent not-for-profit aged care provider, we took on the name Bolton Clarke in 2017 to honour these two early leaders. From the Ashes to Ned Kelly’s armour and the shores of Gallipoli, Lady Janet Clarke and William Kinsey Bolton are part of an incredible story that winds through some of Australia's most iconic moments. Read more about them and some of the other teams, clients and residents who make up our story here.

7 August marks the day we brought RDNS and RSL Care together under the name Bolton Clarke. Since 1885, our teams have been following the need to provide practical support where it's needed. In 1903, that meant moving from foot power to bicycles - and donning pith helmets! - to deliver care to more people.

To celebrate International Day of Older Persons on October 1, Bolton Clarke homes from across Australia brought out the fine China and prepared the most decadent spread of delicious treats for a high tea with residents, family, friends and team members. This year's theme for the day was about fulfilling the promises of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights for Older Persons across generations. The aim of the day this year, was to bring the declaration to the forefront of everyone's minds and learn from other generational models of how we can continue to protect the rights of older generations.
