IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

We knew this day would eventually come, it's time for Pilpel Express to close its doors. We took over the cafe, after the previous group left, right at the beginning of Covid against a lot of people's advice. It became a lovely mainstay in Newport and has done well given the massive problems that Covid threw at us.

Today (Sunday 24/7/22) is our last day of trade and while it will be sad to go we're very thankful for all the support from customers and Stockland. We look forward to the new development going in it's really starting to take shape!

We will miss you all but hope one day we will have another place to call home. Thanks again for all the memories.

Be advise the main carpark is still being blocked with the construction crew. Parking near the water is still available.

We are truely sorry more issues have stopped us from opening tomorrow. Between covid and issues with the rain we’ve had we really hoped to be open but looks like Thursday we will be. Our management team is working hard to make sure we are. Thank you everyone for your patience trust us we want to be open! See you soon hopefully!!
