Made a sleep out into two rooms. Took out casement front doors and replaced it with a solid door.

Had to cut a hole in the wall to install a window this week. Office staff can now see who’s coming and going down the hallway.

Nice transformation, starting to look really good.

First night away in Taroom. Peaceful drive today. Not one vehicle overtook us between Gracemere and Taroom

We’ve been doing a bit of work on a old Queenslander. Put a new k**b on the front. Put in some new windows, part new kitchen, re-lined the back wall and fascia. The paintings not ours, painters are doing a great job.

The last couple of weeks I’ve had a run of doors and locks. This week it’s been painting with a few odd jobs between.

Painted another bath tub this week.

Robert and I put up these awnings, came up a treat.

Chip off the old block, shopping at Bunnings.

Built a privacy screen this morning.

Tidied up a house for sale. New laundry tub and tap ware. Replaced damaged lattice.

Bit of a tidy up.

Another job finished today.

Out with the old, in with the new.

So after being in and out of this property for the past three months, I think I’ve finally finished. Lots of repairs, filling in where louvers were adding windows in. Lots of painting (not all mine) casements and even the bath tub. Added lots of trim to bring it back to its era. We installed a couple of plantation shutters and lots of blinds. Finished off with a bit of plumbing this afternoon with new tap ware for the kitchen sink as well as accessories for the bathroom.
