️✔️ Cook until the white is completely firm and the yolk starts to thicken

✔️ Keep eggs cold in the fridge in their carton

✔️ Use only clean and crack-free eggs

✔️ ️Keep hands, surfaces and utensils clean and dry before and after handling eggs

❌️ Never serve foods containing raw eggs to children under 2, pregnant women, folks over 70 and those with low immune systems

What a busy year we have had here at Learn with Lizy. We have almost finished renovations to the playground with adding a large sandpit and a very large digging patch. We just need to build a roof for shade up over the sandpit. The children are loving it and while we have the hot weather they are enjoying the water trough in the sandpit using trial and error with what floats and sinks and encouraging sensory awareness. The digging patch encourages gross motor skills as well as role playing with the big dump trucks and diggers. Soon we will be adding a mud kitchen for even more dramatic play.

Throughout the year we have been learning many games such as the memory game, playing musical instruments to the song, ‘The Biggest Band’, and conquering our resilience with the game of musical chairs. We have also been developing our locomotive movement skills with the obstacle course and ball play. This is just to name a few things we have been developing.

Look what came in the mail yesterday. I feel very proud to have been nominated as the Educator of the year 2 years in a row. Thank you to a wonderful scheme 24/7 Family Day Care you are such caring supportive team. 🎉
