When my client Steph came to me the goal was set to stack on more muscle (she did just that) the intention was to undergo a long growth phase and then work towards her first bodybuilding competition prep next year
She wasnât seeing much progress in the gym as well only minimal body composition changes, with big goals we worked on shifting her mindset âto become great you need to become comfortable with the uncomfortableâ
Managed to bring her calorie intake up from 1500-3,000 calories minimal weight gain made sure we were making realistic changes and had the appropriate structure in place
The biggest take away was she applied 100% effort to training pushing her intensity in the gym opposed to going through the motions. Everyone can have a plan but itâs how you execute the plan she did just that

Nowadays people are expecting to have ground breaking results without justifying the ground work
But yet people are comparing results to someone else that have trained 5 years longer than them
In bodybuilding the stage moments are only 1% of the process itâs the work thatâs done behind the scenes
Repetition is what makes a athlete doing the same things over and over again for days, years itâs the fire that keeps you evolving cut your losses you keep going
Purely lean into the process not the outcome.

Bodybuilding is a long game the longer you play the greater the reward
You put in the work your not looking for instant gratification through repetition of countless hours you take the path alone
As for most of us the consistent work you reap all the benefits from your hard work. This amplifies its the main ingredient you continue to compound
Behind closed doors nobody sees the struggles, hardships you just continue to see it to the end
Itâs not an overnight result but when you do some glimpse of success itâs all worth it

Stories saw it first so we are under destruction this year in my off-season Iâve committed to my BUILD for 8+ months without any MINI CUTS
One mistake I see women make is not spending enough time to build the results they desire as soon as that urge kicks in itâs straight into a deficit whereas it doesnât solidify much growth in a build phase it becomes a repeated cycle without any reward
The real answer is having a sustained hunger is a number one factor to allow you to continue to move forward to the desired outcome
With no planned stage debut this year we may look towards a comeback in 2025. The aim is to bring a well rounded improved package to the stage. We are going to make sure it was hella worth it. I know I can and I will

Remember your WHY
I once thought I wouldnât be capable enough from the outer voices which internally lead me to believe this
But I was wrong
No matter of internal or external dialogue that continued to discourage me I knew the only person I needed to prove this to was myself this meant surpassing my own self perceived limitations

I used to think building muscle was all about overtraining and eating more protein. I was WRONG this is WHY
For years I presumed if I did more output I would speed up my rate of progress. My common assumption was in order to grow muscle I needed to push more work capacity whilst feeling aka muscle soreness and eating more protein to assist with the recovery process.
Did I yet realise that was actually doing junk volume I was actually digging myself into the ground, In fact I would be moving backwards, not forward and potentially losing muscle and almost certainly over training
Came down to having a sufficient nutrition training smarter but harder, itâs the quality of your training not the quantity that will brings you the best results.

We got 2nd place đĽ in my first ever WBFF SHOW with a stacked line up. I am lost by words by the utter excitement and gratitude, as an athlete I never expect to win I have only an immense feeling of fulfilment this is my identity. In my eyes Iâm a winner itâs honestly a dream come true to step on this stage. I truly felt in my element and absolutely loved every moment
