Two on the trot for the Under 18's with a great come from behind win today!

Congratulations to Lachlan Gill, who will play his 100th Senior Game for the Storm when he takes the field against South Bendigo tomorrow.

An Under 18 and Senior Premiership player for the club, Gilly has taken his game to another level year on year to become the current day star that he is.

A part of our leadership grouo this season, not only is he one of the nicest blokes you'd meet, he's a terrific mentor to our up and coming younger players, truly setting the bar for hard work. It's no mistake he's having the outstanding season that he is when you see the countless additional hours and kms this bloke puts in.

All the very best for your 100th tomorrow. We are so lucky to have you a part of our club.

One of the all-time greats, Ash Barbetti, brings up 150 club games for the Storm tomorrow.

Ash has done it all - player, coach, committee, volunteer. Babs' contribution to our club goes far beyond the court.

We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you Saturday. Thanks for all that you do, and all have you done.

Congratulations to Ashlee Barbetti of Strath Storm FNC, who is set to play her 150th game for the club this weekend 🎉⚡

Ash is a true team player. She anticipates movement on the court and always delivers the ball into space that create opportunities for her teammates.

Ash is a speedy player with a great change of direction and is a reliable and accurate goaler. She oozes positivity and is always committed to the team.

Ash has shown her fierce commitment to the SFNC club in many roles of the years including founding member, player, coach, team manager, mentor and committee member.

Congratulations to Dani Jeffery from Marong Football Netball Club for being the Senior High St X-ray Player of the Week. Dani has been a key driver of getting the Panthers into the CVFL and showed it on the weekend by kicking 4 goals and recording Marongs first win!

Congratulations to Evie Nuttall from Strath Storm FNC for being the U18 High St X-ray Player of the Week. Evie has been with the Storm for the past couple of seasons and showed her skills with a win against the Bulldogs by 5pts.

Hosking's return helps bolster ruck stocks for flag contender Strathfieldsaye coach elated to have big man back on track.

Another game, and another Senior debut. Congratulations to Zac Grieve on making his Senior debut on Saturday over at Maryborough.

Zac has shown tremendous commitment in the face of adversity, and after a delayed start to the season, we were thrilled to have Rhys Zera present Zac his first Senior jumper, featuring the famous 53, before the weekends game.

MM Player of the Week - Round 08

In a game referred to by many as the BFNL game of the year so far, we had many players make strong contributions across the ground, but it was Cooper Jones who was ultimately voted this rounds player of the week.

Cooper continues to build on a terrific season to date with his intercept marking and efficient disposal hugely important again on the weekend.
