How often do you feed yourself? Three times a day? 🥘 How often do you feed (moisturise)your skin? Everyday? Once a week? Once a year? 🧴

Just like your stomach needs food to power your body, so does your skin to fuel itself. You would not expect yourself to be energised and full of life if you didn’t eat so why expect your skin to be soft, plump and bouncy if you don’t moisturise!

As a guide, if your moisturiser has 24hr hydration/protection you should be applying it everyday. If it’s 48hr then apply every two days and so on. Of course drier skin will need more than just a Body Yogurt and normal to oily skin won’t need the protection of the H**p range.

But we still need to follow the lock down laws of the state we party in and put sanitary measures in place!

This means the following rules will be enforced at in house parties...

🎈 Hand Sanitizer will be provided at the door and every guest will be expected to use it.
🎈 Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms will be asked not to attend.
🎈 Social distancing of 1.5m will be in place.
🎈 Please do not touch display products.
🎈 There will be an opportunity to try products however, it will not be in the usual pamper routine.
🎈If you’d like to do a pamper, please provide your own bowl and hand towel.
🎈 Catalogues will be provided but I will not be reusing them so please take them home with you.
🎈Please bring your own pen.
🎈Victorian parties will be allowed 5 total guests, including myself.
🎈 NSW parties will be allowed 20 total guests, including myself.
🎈 Please leave your children at home as they count as guests and are likely to touch items. 🎈Please RSVP so the Host and I know our limits!

Guest limits will change with state government changes! In house parties are a lot of fun so even though these strict rules are enforced, we’ll have a lot of fun! Online parties will always be an option to party!

♻️ ABOUT OUR PLASTICS FOR CHANGE♻️

It’s no secret that plastic pollution has become a global crisis after all we are a throwaway society. But did you know:
- Single use plastic accounts for 40% of plastic produced each year,
- 8 million tons of plastic escapes into the ocean and,
- There are over 3 billion people living in countries without waste management.

Not using plastic is not the only answer. If used responsibly it can be sustainable, so we need to show love for the plastic that we do use.

In India, almost a third of waste is uncollected. This has given rise to 1.5 million people known as ‘waste pickers’ who collect this waste. ‘Waste pickers’ are mostly made up of ‘dalits’, formerly known as ‘untouchables’, the lowest social group in India’s caste system. This means they are vulnerable to discrimination and poor working conditions.

We want to do more than fight pollution. We want to drive social change and help empower people too. This not only helps tackle the existing problem, it will also help to empower the waste pickers we support with access to more sanitary conditions, a fair price and the respect and recognition they deserve.

That is why The Body Shop has partnered with Plastics For Change, a for-profit organisation that partners with local NGO’s Hasiru Dala and Hasiru Dala Innovation (HDI) to provide Bengaluru’s waste pickers with a stable income and better opportunities.

These partnerships help integrate marginalised waste workers and waste pickers into organised, waste management by utilising their expertise, improving the livelihoods of waste pickers, as well as providing training for other useful skills including urban gardening.
