👋🏼 Hello! I'm Carol, from the beautiful Macarthur area of NSW.🇦🇺

I'm a determined woman who loves supporting local and running this local business allows me to both be the parent and business owner that I long to be.🤍

I love to be on the move, and my 2 gorgeous children help me to do this on a regular basis! 👦🏻 👧🏻 🏃🏽‍♀️

🌙 Night time ROUTINES - Do they work??? 🤔

What if we swapped out bedtime regimented routines and doing exactly the same thing every night with bedtime rituals instead?

Bedtime rituals are when we tap into what our children need and work with them, making slight adjustments as we go along, while at the same time practicing foundational habits.

This can look like bed time rituals like

🌟 Creating a comfortable environment

🌟 Low lights and reduced noise

🌟 Gentle background music or singing together

🌟 Reading together

🌟 Warm bath and teeth brushing (tying these activities to each other or another makes it easy for them to remember)

🌟 Remain close by as they fall asleep

🌟 Remind them gently, 'it's time for sleep now' and remove distractions.

🛌🏻 If you're working on transitioning your child to their own bed, you may wish to consider for an innovative, aesthetic and comfortable sleep solution for 2yrs+ children.

💨 They're Getting Away! Is your little one on the move? 🚼 It could be time to move them out of a cot and into a bed... 🛏️ but which one!?

Here are a few options to try ⬇️

🚼 Floor Mattress: literally putting the bed on the floor, placing it away from the walls

🚼 Toddler Bed: a lower level bed that sits closer to the floor than a typical bed

🚼 Adult Height Bed: your average height bed. It's best to create no space between bars or panels bigger than 95mm and to pop soft cushioning around the floor next to the bed while they adjust to the height. Make sure there's no clutter around the bed for them to slip or trip on!

🚼 Bed bumpers on any mattress: These can work well when fitted properly, flat along the side edge of the mattress. Our ensure that no gaps exist between the mattress and the bed bumper as they grip to the bed under the fitted sheet.
