Guess it’s no secret we had a big crew over in Japan last month. We had the fantastic opportunity to take a bunch of next seasons gear and some of our all time favourites to test in realtime, so we can give you the proper lowdown on how the stuff works. Keep an eye out for some detailed but honest and candid reviews on the gear we rode. A lot of the latest 2025 boards and skis that we tested will be up and available for Pre-Order very soon.

First dump of behind the scene shots from our team trip to Madarao. A fantastic sleepy little ski town in Northern Nagano prefecture. Just a short Bullet train ride from Tokyo. Madarao and Tangram are two interconnected resorts offering some of the best tree and pow riding you can find. Dont worry, there’s tonnes of groomers and fun stuff for the kids too! We were fortunate enough to time the massive 36hr dump to get some serious slashing and gouging of pow trenches throughout the resort and surrounding areas.

Back to our series. Today we feature Hannah’s choice of gear. As a devoted Falls Creek skier, her choice of gear swings towards the high wide and off to the side type of skiing. Kicking it off with the ever popular Black Crows Atris 105mm ski. Plenty of volume for that float but enough edge hold to get your elbows down through hard turns. Clipped into those are a pair of Tecnica Cochise W 105 boots allowing her to transition between a performance downhill boot and an awesome back country Pintech boot when coupled with a dual sport binding like the Marker Kingpins or Salomon Shift range. Keeping her warm and dry but functional is a Picture Sygna jacket and O’neill Star pant. Smith Vantage MIPS helmet and Smith IO Mag goggles provide her head and eye protection. Additionally, a set of Outdoor Technologies Chips 3.0 in-helmet speakers let her Shusss to her favourite tunes but it also allows her to stay in touch with the outside world via Bluetooth connection. Rounding out the rest of her kit is Burtons Premium Warmest mitts. LeBent bamboo merino socks, Rossignol Stocks and a Gogglesoc to protect her goggs. .aus

Valentino Guseli is the overall snowboard park and pipe World Cup champion and received the Crystal Globe in Switzerland overnight. Val also won the Big Air overall title and is the first snowboarder ever to podium in all three disciplines - halfpipe, Slopestyle and big air - in one season. Awesome , congratulations on an incredible year.

Next cab off the rank is our resident BunnyMom Keora who can normally be found shuffling the back country on her split board. But this time she’s showing us her resort all mountain set up. Consisting of the YES Rival freestyle cambered high end twin board. Rome Katana bindings ensure she has the utmost adjustability to suit whatever board or conditions she may want to shred. Strapped into those are a pair of Ride Hera double BOA boots to accomodate her slightly wider feet (don’t tell her we said that 🤣) but still deliver all the fit and power needed. Keeping her warm and comfy is the ROXY rising high pant featuring a higher neoprene waist for a comfy fit that keeps the snow out. Up top her favourite Burton AK Upshift jacket is light and super waterproof for any situation (yes that was her buried overhead deep)
Match that with some more Burton AK in the form of some clutch Mitts. Anon WM3 goggles sit around an Oakley Mod1 Pro MIPS helmet. Finish it off with good ole LeBent base layer and socks made from Merino and Bamboo rayon blend for the best in warmth dryness and comfort.
