Introducing the third instalment of The 'PLUS' Series!
Over this January 2018 Globe month, our 2 wonderful Media teams have been hard at work filming, interviewing and understanding the lives of 4 new PLUS students and their families, as well as revisiting 2 PLUS students from July 2017. These 4 new students join the cohort of PLUS students that future Globe teams will be working with over time, to understand the impact the 40K PLUS program has on them and their families.
The 'PLUS' Series is a brand new collection of micro-documentaries which will track the visible learning of a small cohort of students attending the pods. The project is a longitudinal study which aims to provide clarity on the intended impact and outcomes of the 40K PLUS program.

Spoorthi is the star of our very first micro-documentary in the 'PLUS' series. She attends the Kannur PLUS Pod which was started four years ago by 40K and is now at maximum capacity with 60 children enrolled over two classes daily. Kannur has been the home to many Globers and I am sure you'll recognise the transformation the pod has taken as well as the impact it has had on the Kannur community in rural Bangalore. A huge thank you to the July 2017 Media Team who have kicked off this incredible longitudinal series which we hope to continue over the next five years to keep track of children such as Spoorthi and the influence that PLUS may have on her life and education journey. The next film in the series will be released in two weeks time!
