I didn’t realise this great car show is on this Sunday, if you can get down check the cars and donate to a great cause, Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation and let’s hope my favourite car, the “striped tomato” charger is there✌️

I walked from Manly to Bondi (and think I only cheated once) 26/08/2023

“It’s the best walking city in the world, but we need one great walk to really put us on the map and that’s exactly what Bondi to Manly can be.”

I walked from Manly to Bondi (and think I only cheated once) I once tweeted somewhat naively that I thought I could manage the journey in a single day. When push came to shove, I opted for a more leisurely itinerary over two days.

At the Prince Henry Centre yesterday, motivational speaker Nils Vesk delivered the first of 4 Economic Development workshops on innovation. Randwick City Council has further workshops planned for 9 May, 12 September, 21 November. Dylan Parker - Mayor of Randwick opened proceedings with Councillor Daniel Rosenfeld as MC. Also in attendance were Bill Burst - Randwick City Councillor, South Ward, Councillors Noel D’Souza, Michael Olive - Greens Councillor Randwick and Deputy Mayor Rafaela Pandolfini Greens. Economic Development Officer, Richard Old, provided a snapshot of Randwick’s Economic Strategy (further details https://www.yoursay.randwick.nsw.gov.au/draft-economic-development-strategy) with particular emphasis on the night-time economy defined as ‘whatever is open after 6pm’ (eg. Libraries). He also said that he was there to ‘break down barriers’ and that the unit was a first point of contact for businesses. Yesterday was the last day to submit comments on Randwick’s Draft Development Control Plan (DCP), an update of the 2013 Plan - details - https://www.yoursay.randwick.nsw.gov.au/dcp2023
