And here it is glazed and fired. I’m not sure if I prefer it with or without the white rim (swipe to see) What do you think?
Teeny tiny little ring bowl. Makes me smile :)
Obsessed with this blue! It’s like a deep cyanotype, photos don’t do it justice. It’s the SiO Upsala porcelain that I bought at .
I’m only 2 spaces left, starts this Thursday morning. There’s still time to join us!
Loving the orchid pots I’ve been making. Such fun!
New pieces. I’m experimenting with different clays. It’s great to be playing and experimenting again.

Open day coming up at Waverley Woollahra Art School in Bondi. It's in a wonderful historic building, is council supported, and is a fabulous place to participate in art-making, yoga and other fun things. Come along and have a look :)
This is one of my favourite pieces. It took forever to get the herringbone pattern “right”.
I love how you get such beautiful crisp lines when creating bowls. It takes ages to set up the patterns, but the results always make my heart sing 🎶
Nerikomi sushi plates.
This large nerikomi bowl will be available at my open studio. The pattern is fascinating and contemplative, with so many images revealing themselves.
Yes a pendant light fittings. I’ve been dabbling in lighting, watch this space, or cone to my Open Studio this weekend, to see more.
Sweet little nerikomi bowl, will be available at my open studio this coming weekend. 7 Nymboida St, South Coogee, 10am to 4pm 11 and 12 November

Obsessed with these.shadows!
Different perspectives - usually I toplight my work to highlight the translucency. Here, there are multiple inner shadows, like receding landscapes. Another beautiful metaphor. Thank you for the opportunity and
I started my art journey at WWAS in 2012, when I attended sculpture classes with the wonderful Willamina Vilari, and fell in love with clay and sculpture. Since then I’ve attained a BFA Sculpture and a Diploma in Ceramics, set up my home studio, won art prizes, sell through galleries and I teach at WWAS and from home.
My ceramics classes at WWAS are on Friday mornings (adults) and Thursday afternoons (teens).
It’s a wonderful school and a part of Bondi’s history. Come and join us!
Detail of porcelain grass work,
Absolutely thrilled to have found put this morning that I'm a finalist in the National Emerging Art Prize, thank you so much to the judges for considering and including my work! There are fabulous ceramics in the comp, have a look at the NEAP instagram and website to see them all.
PS, that's my entry below on the announcement page :)
I'm back in Sydney - lots more pics to post from Barcelona - all that Gaudi magic (churches, buildings, parks) oh my word, the Picasso Museum, the Miro Museum, and then London. Swoon.
I'm not posting everything to my art page, am only posting arty stuff, so to see more of these travel pics, please see my insta (as opposed to , which is limited to my ceramics practice).
Here's one of my current works :)
The remains of the very old Synagogue in Cordoba. Only three synagogues from pre-Crusade times remain in Spain: two in Toledo (see previous post) and this one in Cordoba. These pics show the hebrew inscriptions, the upper women’s section, and the remains of a Crusade cross painted directly onto the wall of the synagogue, underneath a moorish arch and hebrew inscriptions! The Magendavid was on the door of the synagogue but I have no idea how old it is.
I became obsessed with the patterns in the cobblestones in Andalucia (Seville, Cordoba and Granada). Many of these in Generalife (the wonderful gardens) in the Alcazar of the Alhamabra, Granada. So.many.photos
