Quarter Midgets For Sale

We have reluctantly decided to list our Quarter Midgets for sale.

All Cars have been sitting in storage since last raced in 2019 and have done about 3 races each since complete rebuild on all the engines including new barrels.

Car #8 Rotax/bandit chassis
this was our guest car, we had many different driver come have a steer of this car and have some fun, car is light, nice and tidy but is rigid car. $3k

Car #16 Rotax max/Spranger chassis
This car won its fair share of races in its time with us,owned and Driven by Alisha, very comfortable car capable of winning on any given night. $5k

Brodie will be competing in all 8 rounds of the Karting NSW Nswskc Championship in the Novice Class aswell as a select few races at Gosford with the Central Coast Speedway Kart Club where our little budget will allow. Our main focus is to get Brodie racing in outlaws karts at Nepean Speedway & Lake Liddell Speedbowl this season if we can get the funds together to get the car finished & upgrade all his safety equipment that is required for this step up.

Warren will be returning to the track later in the year when restoration of a 1980s Gambler Sprintcar he purchased last year is complete taking part in demonstration runs in Vintage Sprintcars class.

SAVE OUR SPEEDWAY!

I’m not sure everyone grasps what is at stake for the sport of Speedway in Australia right now.

I’m incredibly passionate about seeing our sport thrive like it should, and I know so many of you are, too.

If we don’t SHARE that we care about our sport, neither will the government.

On October 21, 2019, The NSW Government announced the compulsory acquisition of Valvoline Raceway.
It was because of the ensuing outcry immediately following the announcement that the NSW Government fronted media the very next day and promised that a "WORLD CLASS SPEEDWAY" would be built BEFORE Valvoline Raceway was demolished...

SO many within the industry offered their time, money, and expertise to ensure that this new facility was everything the sport deserved - a proud HOME for Australian Speedway.
Those same people were turned away, guaranteed the NSW Government would build a world-class venue.

Now, almost 4 years on & $100 MILLION of tax payers money spent and Sydney no longer has a speedway to race at.

The new speedway NEEDS to be fixed, and this time, the speedway community HAS to be consulted.

Unfortunately Brodie won’t be Racing Tomorrow at Gosford Speedway for Memorial Round/ CCSKC Championship Rnd 5.

We had to make the hard decision to sit this one out as we are not sure the old ute will handle sitting in the holiday traffic returning to Sydney & have already used up our racing budget for the season, we now have a month off before the next event at Nepean Speedway on August 13 to regroup, save some money and try to finish the year off strong.

A tough start to the day with a broken Accelerator cable giving Brodie a DNS for heat 1 put him behind the eight ball for the day, but he made the most of it and found a lot of speed throughout the day setting his best times so far at Nepean speedway.

We are hoping to make it to the next round at Gosford speedway on the 18th of June if funds allow us to if not he will be back in action at Nepean on the 2nd of July.

Started Brodies first day repping for Total Focus Photos with a Mini Photoshoot 📸 followed by some awesome action shots captured of a great days racing!

Goodbye P Plates, Hello Mini Rok power!

Following Brodie Vassall’s first win at the last round of the NSWSKC club championship he reached another milestone having completed his provisional D class license races and got promoted to a C class license, this means that in all future events he is eligible to go into the grid draw instead of starting all races from the rear.

Given the rate he is improving it’s starting to seem as the motor was holding him back so we have decided it’s time to upgrade his motor from the Comer sw80 to a fresh RTP Race Engines Vortex Mini Rok like the rest of the kids in his class are running.

We are hoping the weather predictions are wrong and he can go racing this weekend at Gosford speedway for round 3 of the Central Coast Speedway Kart Club championship where there is already a few Novices entered, before we head back to Nepean Raceway for round 3 of the Nswskc club championship next weekend.

Another great day for Brodie Vassall in Round 2 of the Central Coast Speedway Kart Club Championship at Gosford speedway in the VRT #8 Speedway Kart.

Unfortunately he was the only Novice in attendance this round but that didn’t stop him from making the most of the day racing against the older kids in the rookie class he went to work trying to increase his pace and racecraft and lowering his lap times each race with a gain of -2.5s a lap by the end of the day & collecting maximum points to take the championship lead.
