Another Johnny Spiller & Co print in the wild. Thanks Frankie for sending the snap. Looking good!
The TSS Earnslaw is a Queenstown institution. The backdrop may have changed since my drawing but the much loved century old steamer named after Mt Earnslaw at the northern end of Lake Whakatipu remains the same. If you have an association with Queenstown and a blank wall, hallway, office or nook calling out for an art print with special meaning – then look no further. Print size 39 x 80cm.

Artist in Focus: Johnny Spiller Artist in focus > Johnny Spiller “Since the start, it’s always been about trying to replicate a photo as best I can, which can literally take 100s of hours and a lot of patience!” Johnny Spiller Johnny Spiller, a dynamic artist known for his hyper-realistic pen and pencil
Thanks to our legendary customers for sending through these snaps of our prints – from homes in New Zealand, right across to a beach house in Lancelin, Western Australia. If you have a Johnny Spiller print in the wild, shoot through a photo as we’d love to share them. We might just pop you back some of our cards ;-).
The SCG – hallowed turf for many cricket, AFL and rugby league players and fans. Drawing the heritage listed Members Stand way back in 2007 is still a highlight, especially getting access the ground to take photos. The drawing itself was a big step forward in technique and finding a meditative like patience to draw every seat. But getting the softness of the roof right was by far the hardest part. Our fine art print is the perfect gift for anyone connected with this much loved ground.

Surely New Zealand's most iconic roadside caravan. The facade of Nin's Bin has changed over the years but it’s still a much loved stopover for fresh crayfish along the South Island’s stunning coastline just north of Kaikōura – which aptly means to eat crayfish. Another of our stockroom prints with a great deal of personal meaning. If you’re driving past this summer, take some time out, indulge and admire a mighty fine view.

Calling all Wellingtonians – or anyone connected to the home of The Mockers, some must try craft beers and iconic rows of weatherboard houses. I drew this quintessential Wellington scene of the homes perched above the boatsheds on Oriental Parade way back in 1999. My technique has certainly evolved, but I love looking closely at this work as it reminds me of why I started to draw. This is one print that still works well in a traditional black frame. Tag all your Wellie mates and don’t forget we’re giving away a free Card Box Set with every print ordered before midnight Sunday.

Most of the drawings in our stockroom are places of personal meaning – and none more so than Dalley’s Grainstore in my hometown of Christchurch. Once sitting proudly at the top of Riccarton Road, Dalley's Fruit, Grain & Produce was a family business established by my grandfather Doug Dalley in 1935. The window detail really makes this print – a technique also put to good use on the SCG Members drawing. Available in A2 (fine art print) and A1 (canvas).
