Introducing The Little Lord Street Band

Entering their seventh year, The Little Lord Street Band have put the runs on the board.

The Perth four-piece have been crowned Best Country Act three years straight at the West Australian Music Industry awards on the strength of their dynamic live show and three acclaimed EP releases - the latest, AMRAP chart-topping ‘Waking Up Next To You’ including the WAM Song of the Year (Country) ‘Maybe I’m Just In Love’.

TLLSB successfully released their debut album ‘ A Minute of Another Day’ to a sold out Rosemount Hotel in Perth, landing in the ‘The AU Review’ Top 40 albums in 2020 and RTRfm local feature album, as well as singles ‘Fighting for Air’, ‘Where are We’ and ‘Minute of Another Day’ added to Double J, RTRfm and ABC Country.

They’ve toured as hard as any band can – playing hundreds of stages, equally comfortable and charming set up in the corner of a country pub or playing marquee touring support – including highlights Gomez (UK), Justin Townes Earle (USA) and Ruby Boots (USA via WA), Daniel Champagne (USA via NSW) and soon to support F***y Lumsden on her first WA Country Halls Tour this June 2021.

The dueling, dueting, danceable songs of songwriters James Rogers and Natasha Shanks have proven festival favorites at Bigsound (QLD), Out on the Weekend (VIC), St Kilda Festival (VIC), In The Pines, Fairbridge, Nukara, Nannup, Perth Festival and Fringe Festival in Western Australia.

But at heart, they’re a quartet of music nerds, missing one line from their resume – international touring.

And so it is that in 2021 The Little Lord Street Band make moves to record their second release.
