🏡 Where do you live and why do you love it?
Neil calls Geelong home, Victoria’s largest regional city. It’s the perfect blend of regional charm and easy access to Melbourne. Within 20 minutes, you can be in sheep country, enjoying local wineries, dining in a cosy country pub, or hitting some of Australia’s most iconic beaches for a surf or swim.

🎧 What do you do for work?
Neil’s business has two sides. By day, he manages project delivery for one of Australia’s largest companies, working remotely and only commuting as needed. By night (and any other time he can), he’s the voice behind Podversations, creating and hosting podcasts that help regional organisations connect with their communities in meaningful ways. His goal? To eventually transition to full-time podcasting and coaching regional businesses using his corporate expertise.

Neil started his career when remote work was a dream, but now it’s a reality. It’s opened up the whole country for him, allowing him to work with clients from every corner of Australia. All he needs is a good internet connection and a computer, and he’s ready to roll.

Together, Col and Victoria run Drawn Upon, a graphic and web design business dedicated to helping clients shine online. Nestled in the Northern Rivers, NSW, this husband-and-wife team works from a little pocket of paradise, enjoying uncrowded beaches, vibrant art scenes, live music, and a strong sense of community.

Drawn Upon offers a wide range of design services, from branding and logos to designing underwear patterns and creating a 21-metre banner for the Ekka. They also build websites for businesses both locally and interstate.
