Ksusha and Justin have the most romantic love story. They met while Ksusha was still in her native Ukraine a couple of years ago and Ksusha made the permanent move to be with Justin.

They celebrated at , which I had never photographed at before. Justin had been working nearby when he noticed the historic building and the architecture inside and knew it would be perfect for their wedding.

Emma and Si’s beautiful day started in Melbourne and then continued on in Geelong at the wonderful . It was a super hot day but you wouldn’t know it looking at these two!

Funny story about Emma’s dress from . She first saw the dress when she was 18 and fell in the love it but didn’t buy it. Years later, Emma said the dress haunted her and Karen Walker luckily had enough left to make the dress! Just goes to show when you try on ‘the one’ you know ha ha.

I love this iPhone photo of my son (in the middle) with his cousins. They’d heard the lifeguard on the loudspeaker asking people to stay in the flags so they were yelling out their own announcements about sharks and crocodiles.

Lynn and Paul’s gorgeous nuptials at their private estate near Torquay was absolutely magic. We had a ball photographing this day and topped it off visiting some sentimental spots along the coast line. Epic day filled with fun, love and laughter.

I knew when I first met Teresa and Curtis on Zoom they were going to be super fun to be around. Their wedding was all about fun, pops of beautiful colour and celebrating with family and friends. Teresa and Curtis had a stroll along the ridge at and saw the most beautiful sunset as husband and wife. Teresa chose pops of red and burgundy to acknowledge her Chinese heritage and I’m in love with the colour palette. Thanks for a truly memorable day.

Special shout out to Barwon Edge! I was so happy to be there as I was also at the very first wedding at the venue in 2007. This year marks a new chapter for the iconic Geelong venue and they’re reopening for weddings soon. The floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the greenery make it a gorgeous setting for an afternoon wedding with the sun streaming in. Made all the more special listening to performing.

Having a little break from the cold. I’m not quite in Europe (I feel like everyone is off to Europe) but sunny QLD should be just as nice.

Had a slight mishap at Avalon airport! I haven’t flown out of there in years but today I was made aware bag drop shuts super early everyone. Luckily we are light packers and with a bit of rearranging we managed to get it all in as hand luggage. We were those people with our suitcases open on the floor of the airport!

Obsessing over moody portraits in Barwon Heads.

How’s everyone’s Monday going? It’s a wee bit cold so thinking back to this Bali shoot and the golden, balmy weather.

Love a bit of a lift and twirl. Surprisingly not as easy as it looks.

Some bridal inspo for your weekend with this beautiful hanging floral garland which I just love.

I love reusing things on wedding days. If you’ve created a vision with amazing tables and florals, it’s such a great idea to reuse them for some couples portraits. Best done after the ceremony, before guests are seated or in the space. It only takes a few minutes! Let me know if it’s something you’d like to do at your wedding.

I love photographing simple details like the dress hanging, but wow, I am very paranoid!! I wash my hands first, make sure its sturdy on the hanger, find a spot where it won't fall, get up to the height and place it there, have a moment where I hope nothing happens, and then relax and take my photos.

In the first photo, the bride wanted this exact image with the dress hanging up outside. Luckily her bridesmaids knew exactly what was needed and hung it up despite the wind and the rain but normally I stick to hanging it up indoors.

This year I've started taking a few simple wooden hangers with me so if I'm shooting your wedding this year and you're loving the wooden hanger, you can leave it with me and cross it off your list. There are some really sweet hangers on Etsy.
