A very tidy dual battery fitout completed today on an NX Pajero. We aimed to fit a larger battery than the standard 70ah capacities sold with off the shelf kits (there is not much room in these Pajero bays!) so we modified a tray and fabbed some bracketry for the BCDC, managing to fit an N70 sized 100ah! We also fitted their tow-pro elite brake controller.

All of our fit-outs are fully future proofed with prior planning allowing for expansion of the systems and the ability to build a complete off grid setup for the big trips!

Major service completed today on this little Isuzu 190

This included engine and driveline oil and all filters, A/C drier replacement , valve set adjustment and wheel hub repacking / seal replacement. During inspection we found one of the caliper bolts had come loose and was rubbing on the wheel, major safety hazard! A new caliper air freighted and the truck will be on its way back working

Couple of weekend jobs

Brakes on the Triton, the customer had a noise in the front when braking and after and noticed the rotors to be wearing bad. After disassembly we found the slides to have seized in the caliper causing the brakes to stick.

Also bringing in a 79 series for some rear spring bushes after failure

Been a while since we posted, but here is a clean RV Hdj79 which we recently completed a clutch upgrade on.

As you can see the old flywheel had seen better days with bad hot spots causing a shudder on take off

This cruiser is now a pleasure to drive and ready for its long trip🚗🚗

Josh stopped in to add a diesel pre-filter to his PX Ranger and protect his common rail fuel system from damage. These things are worth their weight in gold especially if you are doing big trips to remote areas where fuel quality may be an issue. The Direction-Plus kit proved a neat and tidy fit and leaves the filter with a decent amount of access room.
