It's been a while between updates. This was from day 5 where we took Riko to the beach to show him how it feels to really stretch your legs! I've had Riko for a total of 40 days now so I had best catch you all up on his progress!! He's almost ready for adoption!
Maru (BC) and Nala (mixed breed) came and had a fun swim in the dam out here at Sit Happens HQ. Nala really surprised us both as she was initially afraid of water but really quickly was jumping in chasing the toys! Talk about building confidence quickly! Maru was happy to just swim around and enjoy the beautiful day 🌅

Check out this nutty 🥜 Kelpie 🐕 Bunny is a pretty independent little doggo, just like the majority of Kelpies. She didn't need anyone else to make fun for her at the dam, she did that all on her own 😜 Too often our dogs rely on us, or other dogs to keep them occupied and entertained. Miss Bun Bun was all too happy to visit Snakeweed HQ all by herself and had a great time just the same! It's important in multi-dog households to take each doggo out and about on their own. You'll have a much more confident, independent dog for it 👌
It was a heartbreaking day yesterday at Sit Happens HQ. We said goodbye to Dizzy dog who was 14yo. She was my best all-rounder, we played all sorts of dog sports - agility, canine disc, flyball, scent work and a touch of search and rescue and sheep dog training. She loved pretty much any activity or adventure we did together, camping, horseriding, bike riding, hiking to name a few. She tried her heart out each and every time we embarked on a new sport together. She was such a trouble free doggo in so many ways and taught me so much. It's so hard saying goodbye to a doggo you've had for their entire lives but I feel lucky to be able to do this at home with her in her favourite place 🧡🧡🧡 Thanks to my wonderful clients for being super understanding this week, I had a heap of Meet-N-Greets booked to officially launch Sit Happens and with the weather how it is, the training area absolutely saturated and now losing Dizzy dog, I was just not up to it. Fly high Dizz-O, may there be an endless supply of discs for you to catch in doggy heaven and may the rest of the crew who are already up there welcome you with open paws 🐾🌈🕊️ we already miss you so much 💔💔💔
