Andy Skinner. A man I discovered over the last few months has brought out a range of stamps of kids with balloons. They have been made from his paintings and are amazing. I for one had to order all of them. He has another range coming out soon of tattered angels and I think that’s one on his wall. I can’t wait for that. I love his art.

Hi everyone ! I haven't been posting for a while but I hope everyone had a great Christmas and I wish you all the best for a really happy and peaceful New Year. Made for an order. These Christmas cards were so much fun to make. I used Sweet Poppy stencils and Lavinia stamps and jewels wherever I could put them. I need to make another batch for myself. I hope you like them.

Made for a special person who owls visit every year. This year they had two babies. I coloured this with my pencils after researching how others have coloured owls. One of the real visitors in the comments. (Not so handsome )

I came across this photo the other day of all the little thongs (flip flops) I made for cards that were ordered after my class. I love miniature things so you can imagine I loved making these.

I have spent a long time away from my page and it is 3 years today that I had my mastectomy and a port inserted in my chest to begin the fight against breast cancer. For the first year I kept a journal that I designed myself and only realised the other day that it was actually a form of therapy. The universe works in mysterious ways as I accepted everything that happened along the way. This past weekend I spent at a craft retreat in Yeppoon run by My Scrapbooking Obsession. It was so good meeting so many likeminded people doing what we love. I took the classes in making cards, a journal and a mixed media bottle. The bottle never made it back to Townsville as I put it in my friends garden in Yeppoon. Let’s just say my forte is not in that craft. Here are some pics of the other things I made.

Hi everyone! I haven’t posted in a while but just letting you know my progress. I’m on my second 3months of chemo which is weekly now just so they can keep an eye on the side effects. Weekly doesn’t mean stronger meds it’s just so they can monitor you better. This chemo affects your nerves in the ends of your fingers and toes and can leave permanent damage. Numbness in your fingers and feet. My worst nightmare. I have to have 12 rounds. So far 2 done and only slight tingling in my fingers and tip of my tongue. Feeling pretty good. Hope you’re all getting on with your crafting at home. There won’t be any classes for quite a while I don’t think. I’m just going along on this journey as best I can and hopefully it will be all over by the end of the year. Until I see you all again, happy crafting.

I made this card 6yrs ago but it reminded me so much of Valentina that this was her 4th birthday card for yesterday.

I can show you what I did with my colourings now as two of the cards have already gone to someone special. All stamps are a mix of Uniquely Creative and Paper Rose. Both South Australian stamp companies. One word stamp is from Kaisercraft. Hope you like them.

I’ve been colouring gumnut babies since yesterday. I’m a bit slow but enjoying it. Lots to colour still and then let’s see what I make.

Woohoo! I made this card. Took a few days. I said I would swap New Years cards with someone so I had to persevere and get it done. Happy 2021 to everyone. It’ll be a hard year again but there will always be happy times. ❤️
