This week Exercise PUK PUK commenced in Wewak with a kastom challenge and welcome to Moem Barracks by 2 RPIR. Our contingent of 100 soldiers from Australia, PNG, NZ and the UK will spend the next six weeks conducting partnered engineer activities on and around Moem Barracks. We are thankful for the Townsville community's support, and the Open Day is an opportunity for us to express our appreciation. The event is open to the public and fun for the whole family at Riverway Stadium, followed by a Beat the Retreat parade, concert, and fireworks. We hope to see you there 💪
