Day 1 at Camp Samatou an hour and a half SW iof Melbourne. has been wild. So many amazing people, great teachers and so much fun.

I facilitated some get to know you games and activities tonight that brought a lot of laughs and good energy at the end of an exhausting but exhilarating day.

I spent a blissful afternoon sharing meditative music on my instruments with a bunch of very receptive people (no photos of participants for privacy but you get the idea) 😋

Megan Donnelly and I played some music at the Bridal Expo yesterday for a bunch of soon-to-be-married people and today I drove out to Abergowrie and drummed with a huge group of super enthusiastic and highly rhythmic students and staff of St Teresa's College, Abergowrie

Tomorrow night is the Full Moon Drum Circle and Sunday afternoon is the Bliss Out in October event. See you soon!

We completed the last session of the Puerto Rican drumming workshop tonight and we had a blast!

Come to the Full Moon Drum Circle this Saturday and watch the participants perform a couple of the rhythms we’ve learned. Bomba!

We ‘stood up’ and drummed for Down Syndrome 2024 - Townsville today at Riverway. We had so much fun singing along and dancing to the drumming!

I brought my piano to the Glendale Nursing Home again this morning and made lots of residents and staff smile, sing and dance with my good friend Megan Donnelly by my side playing sweet melodies on her flute.

Sharing music is such a beautiful privilege ❤️

On this day three years ago I had the privilege to perform with Bobby Alu here in Townsville. What an amazing experience that was having had only less than half an hour to go over the songs during soundcheck earlier in the day 😄

Queensland Mental Health Week is from 5-13 October with the theme "Connect for Mental Health".

I am available to facilitate activities at schools or organisations during this week, activities that promote connection and positive well-being amongst students and staff. This can take the form of Drum Circles, African Drumming Workshops and Sound Immersion sessions.
