Finished!

After my books got wrecked in a flash flood…. It’s recycled time… I have my own little “Dolphin of Pern”, so that’s the book I’m using for this piece.

My holiday ceramic pieces out of the kiln today. Glazed on a stoneware setting. Most pieces double up to hold an incense stick.

In between school planning and compliance stuff, I’ve slowly been doing a bit of glazing

Had a very successful final day of my exhibition yesterday. To me, success isn’t always measured in sales, but in how many people come through and having the opportunity to be able to give that tour and tell the stories behind the paintings.

Over the three weeks though, I did also sell a bunch of works and I’d like to thank each and everyone who came and visited
to support me in this.

It’s been a good experience and I’m definitely keen to do it again.

New cereal bowls!!! And working out the best way to use my makers mark.

EXHIBITION | Skye Elizabeth Artist Immerse yourself in the Great Barrier Reef artworks of Skye Elizabeth Carroll. Skye is an art teacher, artist and scuba diver with a love for the reef. Her paintings reflect the joy and peace she finds in this underwater environment.

Huge thank you to everyone who turned up to my launch night tonight for my first solo art exhibition! It means the world to me to have everyone’s support.

What a great night! Massive thank you to Murky Waters Studio for allowing me to exhibit,
Kerrie EverRocks for believing in me enough and showing me the ropes.

Another massive thank you to my Mum Sue Tranter, who created an extensive amount of prints and cards from my paintings. Amazing work!!! Thank you!

And HUGE thanks to my hubby Peter Carroll, who’s been my biggest support and champion throughout this process, put up with my art all over the house, given me stellar ideas, hung the exhibition and was an amazing barman tonight! I can never thank you enough!

It was great to see a couple of people from my old school (SCCC) and some students as well.
