Qualifications:

🚚 Valid HC or MC license with a clean record.

ATTENTION ALL DIESEL MECHANICS!

A position is available in our Ingleburn (Sydney) workshop for a diesel mechanic.

You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a modern fleet of Cummins powered American prime movers, trailer combinations and carrying out basic maintenance and checks of ThermoKing fridge units.

Primary duties include but not limited to:

• Repair, replace, maintain and test company vehicles and related mechanical components.
• Complete work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Servicing vehicles in line with company servicing schedule.
• Accurate completion of paperwork/job cards.
• Availability for afterhours breakdowns.


The successful candidate will have:

• Trade qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Heavy vehicle License (HC license preferred).
• Clean license and demerit point print out.
• Clear & concise communication skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Proven experience in all aspects of heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, trailers, and fridge motors (not essential though preferred).
• Effective diagnostic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Own tools required (specialist tools provided).
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of team.
• You will be reporting to ERH fleet manager.
• Workshop / breakdown ute will be provided
• Remuneration to be negotiated upon successful application.

Well that's a wrap for the Christmas Rush although a few of the crew are still out and about. We would like to Wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year.

Terry broke more new ground this week, after getting our Brisbane train up and running this week he has singlehandedly done the same for the Sydney version. Whilst dabbling in his amateur photography, he's done well here.

We put on a new driver this week who's an expert at this peak time of the year. Wishing everyone a safe week before Chrissy and make sure you get home to your loved ones.

(There is no truth in the rumour that Damo lost a bet 😂🤣)

And While Pete has been off adventuring Young George has been putting his best foot forward putting miles on our newest Road Train setup.

One of our newest drivers John Martin thinks his '22 model Aerodyne is s**t hot and he's taking great care of her.

4 years ago today young James Ryan set out on the maiden voyage of PM 150. Today this truck is in the workshop receiving it's 1,000,000 k service and tune-up. 2 drivers and a million k's in 4 years of one out work is pretty good going I reckon.

New addition to the fleet this week and Dan and Alex seem happy.

Apparently these are pictures of the red moon, all I can see is Gumby's shiny lorry 👍👌😅

So Terry headed off today on our new venture, we should have our next set ready to roll in the next week or two. Give him a wave if you see him out there.

This is the set that we've settled on for the maiden voyage on Monday. After measuring and maneuvering we will be sending Terry on his way to Brisbane and you can expect to see several of these running our corridors with different prime movers as we work out the kinks.

Final measure up before the maiden voyage, reckon it's coming together alright.
