It was an honor to execute the full external wall and external ceiling cladding color change, as well as the complete internal repaint, which included a curved fresco wall - a first for our team. On Point Coating are looking for Painters and Apprentices to join our Geelong team.

We are looking for painters with varied levels or experience and apprentices, that have:

• relevant experience but not essential
• positive attitude
• ability to work autonomously
• reliability and punctuality

Major duties and responsibilities include:

• Making on-site preparations such as covering surfaces, fixtures etc.
• Preparing walls and other surfaces for painting
• Fill cracks and holes
• Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right colour or texture
• Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
• Apply varnish and other finishes
• Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
• Desire to work and learn new aspects of the trade

Preferred but not essential requirements:

• Working at Heights Certificate
• Valid Driver's license & own transport
• Construction White Card
• Exemption will be made for apprentices and assistants will be offered

- knowledge in all aspects of painting

- white card (preferred), work safely at height (preferred), drivers licence and own transport.
